Colectânea de opiniões de alguns alunos da Turma 1TAS - profª Leonor Borges, disciplina de Inglês -, da Escola Secundária de Amora, após o visionamento do documentário «As escolas solares de S. Tomé e Príncipe». Esta atividade surge integrada no projeto Eih!, na parceria que a Biblioteca Escolar tem com o Projeto Educativo Povos, Culturas e Pontes da Câmara Municipal do Seixal. Parceiros deste evento foram também a ONG Conceitos do Mundo - que deu a formação - e a Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humana UNL que promoveu o debate.

I found the movie interesting. I’m glad they did that for the community because it helps children to have better conditions and have opportunity to be somebody in the future.

Children enjoy school because they have electricity.Electricity has changed the lives of these children.People gave electricity to these kids to learn at school, they gave them an opportunity.

People should be more supportive because there is more happiness in giving than in receiving.We should take profit from what life gave us, for example, to study, because many people around the world don’t have the same luck.It doesn’t cost anything to make a little effort in order to make the world a better place; a small gesture can make a difference.
