to show the design intents, in my case, a formal ascent to view the landmarks of Columbus, IN.
The Kamamama Prairie was a studio collaboration and parts of the project
were divided into separate groups. My group worked on the infrastructure of
the project, including diagrams, and I worked on visualization after the
studio was over.

One of the earlier design projects I completed, my intent was to disrupt to repetitive city block

The table was modeled in Rhino to create a template for our cuts in the wood shop. Modifications were made after construction to
stabilize the desk/desks; such as the tension cables to provide
lateral bracing and table leaf connectors to provide a flat
surface.
The studio community table was a collaborative effort
with fellow classmate, Ganesh Raman. The purpose was to design something that would
enhance collaboration during the semester.

The post-occupancy evaluation involved a team of students using a building as regular occupants. The intent is to provide the client with
issues, opportunities, and proposals.
The partner I worked with was Sergey Kahn and we were assigned to the kitchen/cafe. We proposed to a renovation to create a more central, lively,
and successful space.
The circulation, or how customers walkthrough the cafe, is important to the functionality and efficiency of the cafe. Diagrammed above is an example of how people can enter the cafe closer to the entrance as well as change how the vending machines, if necessary, are seen. The vending machines would no longer be seen as you enter the JCC but rather, as you wait in line to purchase an order.

The following proposal is a further inverstigation in how fluidity can be achieved in the cafe by changing how one enters the cafe space from the main entrance of the JCC. The vending machines and shelving system are placed in line to display the credit. As you exit from the cafe, the coffee fixings and miscellaneous items, such as utensils or napkins, are on a separate counter. There is also a direct line of axis that leads to the courtyard.

The proposed design involve a new fountain with seating attached to it. There would also be a small fire in the center that is reminiscent of the fire symbol throughout the JCC.
Trellises provided shaded walkways around the existing paved walkway as well as a new shaded seating area in each part.
The cafe would also extend more permanently outside with a glass shading to give shading to people in a more predictable manner.

A report and analysis was required for the failure of a bridge. Students were given the freeddom to design their bridges, while most chose traditional slab and post or truss bridges, my partner and I chose a more unique design. We were to guess within a certain percentage of error when the bridge will fail and along what member. We were able to guess correctly.
