DOMINGO III DO ADVENTO - ANO B, 13 DE DEZEMBRO DE 2020 1ª LEITURA LEITURA I IS 61, 1-2A.10-11 O espírito do Senhor está sobre mim, porque o Senhor me ungiu e me enviou a anunciar a boa nova aos pobres, a curar os corações atribulados, a proclamar a redenção aos cativos e a liberdade aos prisioneiros, a promulgar o ano da graça do Senhor. Exulto de alegria no Senhor, a minha alma rejubila no meu Deus, que me revestiu com as vestes da salvação e me envolveu num manto de justiça, como noivo que cinge a fronte com o diadema e a noiva que se adorna com as suas jóias. Como a terra faz brotar os germes e o jardim germinar as sementes, assim o Senhor Deus fará brotar a justiça e o louvor diante de todas as nações. Palavra do Senhor.

EVANGELHO JO 1, 6-8.19-28 Apareceu um homem enviado por Deus, chamado João. Veio como testemunha, para dar testemunho da luz, a fim de que todos acreditassem por meio dele. Ele não era a luz, mas veio para dar testemunho da luz. Foi este o testemunho de João, quando os judeus lhe enviaram, de Jerusalém, sacerdotes e levitas, para lhe perguntarem: «Quem és tu?». Ele confessou a verdade e não negou; ele confessou: «Eu não sou o Messias». Eles perguntaram-lhe: «Então, quem és tu? És Elias?». «Não sou», respondeu ele. «És o Profeta?». Ele respondeu: «Não». Disseram-lhe então: «Quem és tu? Para podermos dar uma resposta àqueles que nos enviaram, que dizes de ti mesmo?». Ele declarou: «Eu sou a voz do que clama no deserto: ‘Endireitai o caminho do Senhor’, como disse o profeta Isaías». Entre os enviados havia fariseus que lhe perguntaram: «Então, porque baptizas, se não és o Messias, nem Elias, nem o Profeta?». João respondeu-lhes: «Eu baptizo na água, mas no meio de vós está Alguém que não conheceis: Aquele que vem depois de mim, a quem eu não sou digno de desatar a correia das sandálias». Tudo isto se passou em Betânia, além do Jordão, onde João estava a baptizar.Palavra da salvação. Now they had been sent from the Pharisees. They asked him, “Why then are you baptizing if you are neither the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?” John answered them, “I baptize with water. "Queridos irmãos, tudo bem?! Espero que todos vocês estejam muito bem. Quero aqui agradecer a todos os irmãos que tem nos ajudado e têm sido generosos nesse tempo que temos vivido. Essa semana eu estou me organizando para postar as cartas de Natal com o Cartão e algumas informações sobre nossa Paróquia para todos vocês. Não nos preocupemos, que o número de participação de pessoas na Missa, continua dentro dos 15% permitido hoje pelo serviço de saúde da nossa Província. Tudo continua feito seguindo as atualizações e diretrizes da nossa Arquidiocese. Nesta semana, o pe. Marinaldo celebrou 25 anos de vida sacerdotal, onde quase 8, foram vividos aqui em nossa Paróquia. Por isso, lembre-se de rezar por ele nas suas orações para que o seu ministério seja sempre fecundo por onde ele passar. Irmãos, neste Domingo, recebemos um convite à alegria e à esperança: “Vivei sempre contentes. Orai sem cessar. Em todas as circunstâncias, dai graças, porque esta é a vosso respeito a vontade de Deus em Jesus Cristo”. O Senhor está próximo: “Minha Filha, teu coração é o céu para Mim”, lhe diz Jesus a Santa Faustina Kowalska (e, com certeza, o Senhor queria repetir a cada um dos seus filhos). É um bom momento para pensar em tudo o que Ele fez por nós e agradecer.A alegria é uma característica essencial da fé. Sentir-se amado e salvo por Deus é um grande gozo; saber que somos irmãos de Jesus Cristo que deu sua vida por nós é o motivo principal da alegria cristã. Um cristão abandonado à tristeza terá uma vida espiritual raquítica, não chegará a ver tudo o que Deus fez por ele e, portanto, será incapaz de comunicá-lo. A alegria cristã brota da ação de graças, sobretudo pelo amor que o Senhor nos manifesta; cada domingo o faz comunitáriamente ao celebrar a Eucaristia. O Evangelho nos apresenta a figura de João Batista, o precursor. João gozava de grande popularidade entre as pessoas simples; mas, quando lhe perguntam, ele responde com humildade: “Pois, então, quem és? perguntaram-lhe eles. És tu Elias? Disse ele: Não o sou. És tu o profeta? Ele respondeu: Não.” (cf. Jn 1,21); “João respondeu: Eu batizo com água, mas no meio de vós está quem vós não conheceis. Esse é quem vem depois de mim; e eu não sou digno de lhe desatar a correia do calçado.”(Jn 1,26-27). Jesus Cristo é Aquele a quem esperamos; Ele é a Luz que ilumina o mundo. O Evangelho não é uma mensagem estranha, nem uma doutrina entre tantas outras, e sim, a Boa Nova que completa o sentido de toda vida humana, porque nos foi comunicada pelo próprio Deus que se fez homem. Todo cristão está chamado a confessar a Jesus Cristo e a ser testemunha de sua fé. Como discípulos de Cristo, estamos chamados a contribuir como o dom da luz. Más além dessas palavras, o melhor testemunho, é e será o exemplo de uma vida fiel. Permita que a alegria da Boa-Nova encha sempre o teu coração de alegria. Tenha uma semana abençoada!"

ENGLISH VERSION "Dear brothers and Sisters in Christ, how are you? I hope you are all very well. I want to thank all the brothers who have helped us and have been generous in this time that we have lived here. the Card and some information about our Parish for all of you. Let us not worry, that the number of people attending Mass remains within the 15% allowed today by the health service in our Province. Everything remains done following the updates and guidelines of our Archdiocese. This week, Fr. Marinaldo celebrated 25 years of priestly life, where almost 8 years were spent here in our parish. Therefore, remember to pray for him in your prayers so that his ministry will always be fruitful wherever he goes. Brothers, this Sunday, we received an invitation to joy and hope: “Live always happy. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances, give thanks, because this is the will of God in Jesus Christ ”. The Lord is near: "My Daughter, your heart is heaven for Me", Jesus says to Saint Faustina Kowalska (and, certainly, the Lord wanted to repeat to each one of his children). It is a good time to think about all that He has done for us and to thank Him. Joy is an essential characteristic of faith. To feel loved and saved by God is a great joy; knowing that we are brothers of Jesus Christ who gave his life for us is the main reason for Christian joy. A Christian abandoned to sadness will have a rickety spiritual life, will not see all that God has done for him, and therefore will be unable to communicate it. Christian joy arises from thanksgiving, above all because of the love that the Lord shows us; every Sunday he does it communally when he celebrates the Eucharist. The Gospel presents us with the figure of John the Baptist, the forerunner. João enjoyed great popularity among simple people; but when asked, he humbly replies: “Well then, who are you? they asked him. Are you Elias? He said, I am not. Are you the prophet? He replied: No. ” (cf. Jn 1,21); “John replied, I baptize with water, but among you is someone you do not know. This is the one who comes after me; and I am not worthy to untie his shoe strap. ”(Jn 1,26-27). Jesus Christ is the One we hope for; He is the Light that illuminates the world. The Gospel is not a strange message, nor a doctrine among so many others, but the Good News that completes the meaning of all human life, because it was communicated to us by the very God who became man. Every Christian is called to confess Jesus Christ and to be a witness to his faith. As Christ's disciples, we are called to contribute as the gift of light. Beyond these words, the best testimony is and will be the example of a faithful life. Let the joy of the Good News always fill your heart with joy. Have a blessed week!"
