Canções inspiradas na primavera, escritas no verão, gravadas no outono e ouvidas em pleno inverno... Era isto. Canções simples, inspiradas em melodias que a mão direita insistia tocar no piano. A mão esquerda segurava o banco ou o copo de água fria que combatia o calor de fora ou pegava na filha que ainda bebé inspirava a mão direita... Esquerda, Direita. Harmonia. Melodia... Coisas simples que ditas de uma forma ainda mais simples se possam traduzir de várias maneiras. Cada um tem a sua primavera. Um sítio onde se descobrem segredos, ínfimas histórias de cada um de nós. Primavera é um hino ao nosso. Apenas e só nosso, coisas nossas, suas. Em palco Primavera e Explode são mil cores possíveis, a historia é a nossa. Posso contudo adiantar que depois deste palco será também vossa.
Songs inspired by the spring, written in the summer, recorded in the autumn and listened to in the middle of the winter. Simple songs, inspired by melodies which the right hand insisted on playing on the piano. Meanwhile the left hand was holding the stool or a glass of water to fight the heat or to hold my baby daughter who was inspiring the right hand... Left, Right. Harmony. Melody... simple things that are said in a even simpler way may be translated in different ways. Each one of us has our own spring. A place where secrets, very small stories about each one of us, are unveilled. Primavera is a hymn to us. Only ours, belonging to us and to you. On stage, Spring and Explode is a thousand colours, it’s our story. I can, however, reveal that after seeing us on stage it will also belong to you.

A exposição reflete os olhares de quatro gerações de fotógrafos da mesma família, os Andrades, imagens de Tavira e dos tavirenses. É estabelecido um percurso sobre a história fotográfica desta família, que nos permite reconstituir parte da História da Fotografia, ao longo dos últimos 100 anos, o seu desenvolvimento técnico, e principalmente a evolução das imagens, a partir dos seguintes temas: os retratos, os quotidianos, a transformação urbana e alguns dos principais acontecimentos entre os inícios do século XX e o início do século XXI. Durante a exposição os visitantes poderão experimentar a fotografia e serão certamente surpreendidos.
The exhibition reflects the looks of four generations of photographers from the same family, the Andrades, images of Tavira and the tavirenses. A passage on the photographic history of this family is established, which allows us to reconstitute part of the History of Photograph, throughout the last 100 years, its technical development and mainly the images evolution, from the following subjects: the portraits, the daily life, the urban transformation and some of the main events between the beginnings of 20th century and the beginning of 21st century. During the exhibition the visitors will be able to experience photography and certainly will be surprised.

Mesopotâmia (que em arameu significa Beth Nahrin “Entre Rios”) é o nome pelo qual é conhecida a Zona do Próximo Oriente entre os rios Tigre e Eufrates e que coincide aproximadamente com as áreas não desérticas do atual Iraque. Beth Nahrin é também o nome de um grupo de música que tem como referência a música árabe do Médio Oriente e Magrebe. Neste espetáculo, o grupo Beth Nahrin conta com a participação de uma bailarina de Dança Oriental que reflete nas suas expressivas danças todo um manancial de cor, exotismo e beleza, interpretadas com elegância e sensualidade.
Mesopotamia (which in Aramaic means Beth Nahrin “between rivers”) is the nameby which the Middle Eastern area between the rivers Tigris and the Euphrates is known. It includes non-desert areas of what is currently Iraq. Beth Nahrin is also the name of a music group whose reference is the Arabic music of the Middle East and of the Maghreb. In this show, Beth Nahrin will be joined by an Middle Eastern dancer who will bring colourful, exotic and beautiful choregraphies, interpreted with elegance and sensuality.

A bailaora flamenca Marina Valiente apresenta em 2012 o seu mais recente espetáculo de flamenco puro “flamenco sin aditivos”, que pretende recuperar o esplendor da antiga tradição flamenca com todo o seu “compás” (ritmo).Este espetáculo carateriza-se por ser extremamente ortodoxo e alheio às inovações e fusões do flamenco atual. “Flamenco sin aditivos” é uma viagem feita através de alegrías, tangos e bulerías magistralmente interpretados por uma guitarra com identidade própria que acompanha as vozes carregadas de emoção e festa e o baile de beleza e paixão.
In 2012 the flamenco bailaora (dancer) Marina Valiente presents her most recent show of pure flamenco “flamenco with no additives”, which intends to recover the splendour of the ancient tradition of flamenco in all its “compás” (rhythm). This is an unreconstructed show, far removed from the innovation and fusion of modern flamenco. “Flamenco with no additives” will take you on a journey through alegrías, tangos and bulerías masterly interpreted by a guitar with its very own identity, by voices filled with emotions and joy, and by dancers bringing beauty and passion.

Every year the Tour of The Algarve attracts thousands of spectators. This year there will be a premium peloton headed by Alberto Contador. This will certainly be a great sports event.

Já com uma década de existência o famoso Terras do Infante vai ter mais uma edição, onde se esperam grandes emoções e muita velocidade, nas ruas das localidades do concelho de Lagos. Em 2011 foram perto de três centenas de patinadores, de quarenta clubes de dez países. A décima edição em 2012 será, mais uma vez, a primeira competição da época no continente europeu, onde os patinadores aproveitam para avaliar a sua capacidade de performance para as grandes provas deste ano.
The famous Terras do Infante is now in its 10th year and this edition will live up to expectations with great shows and speed on the streets of Lagos. In 2011 there were approximately 300 skaters from 40 clubs and 10 countries. The 10th edition in 2012 will once again be the first European competition of the season, giving skaters the opportunity to assess their performing skills before the big competitions later this year.

A prova de categoria C2, com uma extensão de 5km, disputa-se em circuito fechado na pista criada numa Arena / Ribeira do Enxerim a qual é pontuável para o ranking de acesso aos Jogos Olímpicos de Londres de 2012. A tipologia do terreno, pelas suas condições e características naturais permite a visualização completa do circuito. Espera-se um evento de BTT, com características únicas, disputado nesta região que oferece condições ímpares quer paisagísticas quer naturais para a prática desta modalidade. Trilhos espetaculares, descidas alucinantes, colocarão à prova a destreza e técnica dos atletas.
