O Prêmio Laureate Brasil – Jovens Empreendedores Sociais surge com o propósito de consagrar iniciativas de
jovens empreendedores sociais que, como lideranças em suas respectivas comunidades de atuação, contribuem para
impactos de mudanças positivas no País.
A criação do Prêmio integra três programas em um único reconhecimento nacional desses empreendedores: o
Programa Iam – Iniciativa Jovem Anhembi Morumbi, o Programa Iniciativa Jovem UnP e o Programa Jovem Empreendedor UniNorte. Cada um desses programas articula ações e apoios regionais para as iniciativas locais, por
meio da estrutura e da excelência acadêmica da Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, no Sudeste, da Universidade Potiguar, no Nordeste, e do Centro Universitário do Norte – UniNorte, no Norte.
Além das três instituições de ensino, os programas contam também com a parceria da Sylvan/Laureate Foundation
e da International Youth Foundation. Nos próximos anos, outras Universidades da Rede Laureate Brasil poderão
integrar essa articulação do Prêmio Nacional com seus respectivos Programas Locais.
Os 10 jovens selecionados desta edição serão acolhidos e farão parte de uma rede global de jovens empreendedores
sociais, proporcionada pelo programa YouthActionNet®, da International Youth Foundation, que hoje congrega
uma comunidade com mais de 1.089 jovens premiados, localizados em 89 países e que promovem impactos positivos na vida de mais de 2 milhões de pessoas.

The Laureate Brazil Award - Young Social Entrepreneurs arises with the purpose of devoting efforts of young social entrepreneurs who, as leaders in their communities of operation, contribute to impact positive impact changes in the country.
The creation of the Prize includes three programs into a single national recognition of these entrepreneurs: Iam Program - Youth Initiative Anhembi Morumbi, UNP Youth Initiative Program and the Young Entrepreneur Program UniNorte. Each of these programs articulate actions and regional support for local initiatives, by structure and academic excellence at the University Anhembi Morumbi, in the Southeast, the Potiguar University in the Northeast and North Central University - UniNorte in the North.
Besides the three educational institutions, programs also have a partnership with Sylvan / Laureate International Youth Foundation. In the coming years, other Laureate Universities Network Brazil will integrate this joint National Award with their local programs.
The 10 students selected this edition will be welcomed and will be part of a global network of young social entrepreneurs, provided by the Youth ActionNet® program of International Youth Foundation, which today brings together a community of more than 1,089 young winners, located in 89 countries and promoting positive impact in the life of over 2 million people.

Prêmio Laureate BrasiL
Desde 2005, a Laureate International Universities, considerada a maior rede mundial de instituições de ensino
superior sediadas em diversos países, possui parceria com o programa YouthActionNet®, por meio da Sylvan/Laureate Foundation, com o intuito de estimular a criação de programas locais, a partir da articulação das
universidades de sua Rede.
O Prêmio Laureate Brasil surgiu nesse sentido, com o propósito de reconhecer jovens empreendedores sociais
que promovam mudanças significativas nas comunidades em que atuam. Na região Sudeste, está presente desde
2008, com a criação do Programa Iam – Iniciativa Jovem Anhembi Morumbi, sob a gestão da Universidade
Anhembi Morumbi, em São Paulo. Já na região Nordeste, desde 2012, quando a Universidade Potiguar, sediada
em Natal, passou a integrar também essa articulação com o lançamento do Programa Iniciativa Jovem UnP.
Já na região Norte, o Programa Jovem Empreendedor UniNorte, gerido pelo Centro Universitário do Norte –
UniNorte, juntou-se ao Prêmio em 2014.
Anualmente, o Prêmio seleciona 10 jovens candidatos dos programas regionais para participar de um curso de
Empreendedorismo Social e integrar uma rede internacional de empreendedores sociais, o programa global
YouthActionNet®. Criado em 2001 pela International Youth Foundation, esse programa global visa reconhecer,
apoiar e dar visibilidade às lideranças jovens que se dedicam ao empreendedorismo e ao negócio social.
Nos próximos anos, a perspectiva da Laureate Brasil é de que outras universidades da Rede passem a integrar
essa iniciativa, promovendo a criação de programas regionais nas demais localidades do País.

The Laureate Brazil Award emerged accordingly, in order to recognize young social entrepreneurs that promote meaningful change in the communities they serve. In the Southeast, this is desde2008, with the creation of Iam Program - Anhembi Morumbi Youth Initiative, under the management of the University Anhembi Morumbi, in São Paulo. In the Northeast region since 2012, when the Potiguar University, based in Natal, also began to integrate this connection with the launch of the Youth Initiative Program UnP. In the North, the UniNorte Young Entrepreneur Program, administered by the University Centre North - UniNorte, joined the Award in 2014.
Annually, the Award selects 10 young candidates of regional programs to attend a course in Social Entrepreneurship and integrate an international network of social entrepreneurs, the globalYouthActionNet® program. Created in 2001 by the International Youth Foundation, this comprehensive program is designed to recognize, support and give visibility to young leaders who are dedicated to social entrepreneurship and business.

Impactos Sociais Social Impacts
Com a virada do milênio, houve uma crescente conscientização sobre assuntos ligados à sustentabilidade e ao
consumo responsável, além de questões associadas à inclusão social, à cidadania e à cultura.
Por outro lado, jovens lideranças surgem como agentes promotores, que por meio de soluções inovadoras atenuam
algumas das necessidades identificadas nas comunidades a qual estão inseridos, vinculadas a ações ligadas a temas
como Educação, Arte e Cultura, Saúde, Inclusão Social, Meio Ambiente, Desenvolvimento Local e Geração de Renda.
Neste contexto, o Prêmio Laureate Brasil objetiva reconhecer, capacitar e apoiar as boas ações desenvolvidas pelos
jovens empreendedores sociais, para que estes continuem a se dedicar e auxiliar no desenvolvimento social de suas
comunidades, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento sustentável do País.
Desde a primeira edição do Prêmio Laureate Brasil foram registradas 581 inscrições de jovens empreendedores
sociais. Deste montante foram selecionados e premiados 110 jovens que, em conjunto, receberam 1.060 horas de
capacitação em empreendedorismo social com o propósito de alavancar os benefícios gerados pelas respectivas ações
em 27 cidades, impactando 86.005 pessoas positivamente.
With the turn of the millennium, there has been a growing awareness about issues related to sustainability and
responsible consumption, as well as issues related to social inclusion, citizenship and culture.
On the other hand, young leaders emerge as promoters, which through innovative solutions mitigate some of the
needs identified in communities which are inserted, tied to actions related to topics such as Education, Arts and
Culture, Health, Social Inclusion, Environment, Local development and Income Generation.
In this context, the objective Laureate Brazil Award to recognize, empower and support the good deeds performed
by young social entrepreneurs so that they continue to address and assist in the social development of their
communities, contributing to the sustainable development of the country.
Since the first edition of the Laureate Brazil Award 581 entries from young social entrepreneurs were registered.
This amount were selected and awarded 110 young people who together received 1060 hours of training in social
entrepreneurship with the purpose of leveraging the benefits generated by their actions in 27 cities, positively
impacting 86,005 people.

Programa Iam – InIcIatIva Jovem anhembI morumbI
O Programa Iam – Iniciativa Jovem Anhembi Morumbi, promovido na região Sudeste, nasceu em 2008 com a
proposta de reconhecer e apoiar projetos de jovens empreendedores sociais que desenvolvem ações de impacto
em comunidades, a fim de conquistar mudanças positivas para o bem-estar social.
Sua filosofia de atuação está apoiada na missão de reconhecer e apoiar jovens com potencial para o
empreendedorismo social no desenvolvimento de projetos sociais inovadores, proporcionando-lhes formação
complementar, acompanhamento e estímulo necessários à obtenção de mudanças positivas em comunidades.
Os interessados em participar do Programa Iam precisam ter entre 18 e 29 anos e manter, há pelo menos um
semestre, projetos sociais em benefício de uma comunidade na região Sudeste do Brasil. Os projetos podem
ter como foco qualquer área de atuação, desde que os respectivos jovens autores demonstrem que têm obtido
resultados de impacto significativos nas comunidades onde atuam.
As inscrições são feitas por meio do Prêmio Laureate Brasil e, uma vez selecionado e premiado, o candidato passa
a integrar a comunidade de jovens empreendedores sociais e participar das atividades e oportunidades geradas
pelo Programa Iam – Iniciativa Jovem Anhembi Morumbi. Na edição de 2014, foram selecionados 4 jovens
empreendedores sociais oriundos da Região Sudeste.
IAM ProgrAM – AnheMbI MoruMbI Youth InItIAtIve
The Iam Program – Anhembi Morumbi Youth Initiative, promoted in the Southeast, was born in 2008 with the
purpose of recognizing and supporting projects of young social entrepreneurs who develop actions impact
communities in order to gain positive changes to social welfare.
His work philosophy is supported in the mission to recognize and support young people with potential for
social entrepreneurship in developing innovative social projects, providing them additional training, support and
encouragement needed to achieve positive change in communities.
Those interested in participating in the program Iam must be between 18 and 29 years and maintain, for at
least one semester, social projects for the benefit of a community in Southeastern Brazil. The projects can focus
on any area, provided that their young authors have obtained results that demonstrate significant impact in the
communities where they operate.
Applications are made through the Laureate Brazil Award, once selected and awarded, the candidate joins the
community of young social entrepreneurs and participate in activities and opportunities generated by the Iam
Program – Anhembi Morumbi Youth Initiative. In the edition of 2014, we selected four young people from social
entrepreneurs in the Southeast.

Socio Cultural Network from Parauninha
O projeto da Rede Socioambiental e Cultural do
Parauninha surgiu com a proposta de valorizar os
patrimônios socioambientais e culturais inseridos no
contexto das comunidades tradicionais ribeirinhas
e quilombolas do rio Parauninha. A perspectiva
inovadora propõe a construção de uma rede social
participativa, abrangente e horizontal em prol de uma
gestão compartilhada do território e do fortalecimento
do associativismo local e da ação comunitária para o
empoderamento sociocultural e a conservação ambiental.
O projeto propõe um programa de capacitação,
mobilização social e educomunicação que almeja articular
e propor soluções sustentáveis com as comunidades do
Parauninha, representadas pela Associação Comunitária
do Parauninha (ASPA). Nesse sentido, conseguiu-se
envolver mais de 500 pessoas, por meio do intercâmbio
de informações, da participação multilateral e da
reedição dos saberes adquiridos e compartilhados.
Socio cultural network Project from Parauninha came up with
the proposal to enhance the social, environmental and cultural
heritage inserted within the context traditional coastal and river
communities and the Maroons Parauninha River. The innovative
approach proposes the construction of a comprehensive horizontal and
participatory social network in favour of a shared land management
and the strengthening of local associations and community action to
sociocultural empowerment and environmental conservation.
The project proposes a program of capacity building, social
mobilization and educational communication that aims to coordinate
and propose sustainable solutions with Parauninha communities,
represented by Parauninha Community Association (ASPA). In that
sense, we were able to involve more than 500 people through the
exchange of information, multilateral participation and editing of
knowledge acquired and shared.

Danúzia Brandão iniciou seu trabalho com o projeto
“Bibliotecando: Re-lendo o mundo” em 2010, quando
atuava como professora de Língua Portuguesa em escola
pública, trabalhando ainda voluntariamente na Biblioteca
Comunitária “Clarice Lispector”, no Instituto Agronelli
de Desenvolvimento Social – IADES. Formada em Letras
e especialista em Crítica Literária, Danúzia desenvolveu
as ações do projeto junto a 1.019 adolescentes, de 13 a
18 anos, e 28 professores, de 14 diferentes instituições
na cidade de Uberaba e região.
O projeto estimula o resgate à leitura dos clássicos
da literatura brasileira, formando novos leitores e
despertando o olhar crítico dos envolvidos para
atuarem como protagonista na mediação literária
dentro e fora do ambiente escolar. Por meio dos
clássicos, os alunos elaboram releituras durante todo
o ano, conquistando a autoria do livro “Re-lendo o
mundo”, hoje em seu 3º volume.
Danúzia Brandao began his work with the “Re-reading the World”
project in 2010, when it served as a Portuguese teacher in public
school, still working voluntarily at the Community Library “Clarice
Lispector”, in Agronelli Institute Social Development – IADES. Degree
in Literature and Literary Criticism expert, Danúzia develops project
actions along the 1,019 adolescents 13 to18 years and 28 teachers
from 14 different institutions in the city of Uberaba and region.
The project supports the rescue of reading Brazilian classic literature,
forming new readers and awakening the critical gaze of those involved
to act as protagonist in literary mediation within and outside the
school environment. Through the classics, students prepare readings
throughout the year, winning the authorship of the book “Re-reading
the world”, now in its 3rd volume.

O projeto Movimentarte nasceu com o intuito de
potencializar o desenvolvimento da pessoa com deficiência
e criar, por meio da dança, uma ponte para a sociedade se
integrar a esse universo. Diversas ações são realizadas ao
longo do projeto, como rodas de dança em parques, aulas
de dança, palestras e workshops.
A dança, utilizada como forma de terapia, parte do
princípio de que mente e corpo estão conectados e ao
exercitar o corpo, consequentemente, você exercitará
a mente. Após experiências artísticas, a pessoa com
deficiência melhora sua autoestima, expressividade,
criatividade, habilidades motoras e cognitivas, entre
outras. Por meio de palestras e workshops, o projeto
difunde os conhecimentos sobre a temática, aproximando
instituições, pais, professores e diretores da importância
dessa discussão e da necessidade eminente de
oportunidades. Já através das rodas de dança, é possível
realizar um momento de integração, acessibilidade e
descontração, onde todos são iguais e respeitados dentro
de suas diferenças.
The ”Movimentarte” (Movement and Art) project was born with the
aim of enhancing the development of the person disabilities and to

Several actions are performed throughout the project, such as dancing
in parks, dance classes, lectures and workshops.
The dance, used as a form of therapy assumes that mind and body are
connected and when exercising the body, therefore, you will exercise
your mind. After artistic experiences, the person with disabilities
improves their self-esteem, expressiveness, creativity, motor and
cognitive skills, among others. Through lectures and workshops, the
project disseminates knowledge on the topic, approaching institutions,
parents, teachers and principals of the importance of this discussion
and the imminent need for opportunities. Already through dance, you
can perform a time integration, accessibility and relaxation, where all
are equal and respected within their differences.

A 4YOU2 é um negócio social fundado em 2012,
que proporciona experiências transformadoras de
aprendizado e cultura por meio do ensino de idiomas.
Como a educação de qualidade é inacessível para a
maior parte da população brasileira, os cursos oferecidos
pelo projeto contam com professores estrangeiros e
possuem preços acessíveis (até 400% abaixo do preço de
mercado) e voltados para a base da pirâmide (classes C,
D e E) em regiões periféricas.
Em dois anos de operação, a iniciativa possui três
unidades no estado de São Paulo, com mais de 1.500
alunos, e já recebeu mais de 85 professores de todo o
mundo, que também visam transformar o mundo através
da educação. Atualmente, a 4YOU2 está em processo de
expansão para ampliar o impacto da iniciativa por todo
o Brasil.
The 4YOU2 is a social business founded in 2012 that provides
transformative learning experiences and culture through teaching
languages .As the education quality is unaffordable for the majority
of the population, the courses offered by the project have foreign
teachers and have affordable prices (up 400% below the Market
price ) and aimed at the bottom of the pyramid (classes C, D and E) in
peripheral regions.
In two years of operation, the initiative has three units in the state of
São Paulo, with more than 1,500 students, and has received more
than 85 teachers from around the world, which also aim to transform

O Programa Iniciativa Jovem UnP configura-se como uma oportunidade para os jovens do Rio Grande do Norte e região Nordeste do Brasil, que desenvolvem atividades empreendedoras de impacto social positivo. Ao integrar o Prêmio Laureate Brasil – Jovens Empreendedores Sociais, o Programa tem como objetivo reconhecer os jovens que promovem mudanças significativas nas comunidades em que atuam, com projetos sociais de destaque local e regional.
A iniciativa é voltada a jovens entre 18 e 29 anos, autores ou coautores de projetos sociais em suas comunidades ou em comunidades as quais não pertencem. Desta forma, os jovens têm a chance de receber reconhecimento e, principalmente, de se integrar a outros jovens com projetos que compartilham de objetivos semelhantes.
Apesar da característica regional, o Programa Iniciativa Jovem UnP faz parte de uma rede global, servindo como polo de nucleação, seleção e acompanhamento dos projetos executados por jovens empreendedores sociais, tornando essas atividades acessíveis à esfera internacional do projeto.
As inscrições são feitas por meio do Prêmio Laureate Brasil e, uma vez selecionado e premiado, o candidato passa a integrar a comunidade de jovens empreendedores sociais e participar das atividades e oportunidades geradas pelo Programa Iniciativa Jovem UnP. Na edição de 2014, foram selecionados 4 jovens empreendedores sociais oriundos da Região Nordeste.
UnP YoUth InItIatIve Program
The UNP Youth Initiative Program is configured as an opportunity for the youth of Rio Grande do Norte and Nordeste region of Brazil, who develop entrepreneurial activities of positive social impact. By integrating Laureate Brazil Award – Young Social Entrepreneurs Program aims to recognize young people who promote meaningful change in the communities they serve, with social projects for local and regional prominence.
The initiative is aimed at young people between 18 and 29 years, authors or co-authors of social projects in their communities or in communities which do not belong. Thus, young people have the chance to receive recognition and especially to integrate projects with other youth who share similar goals.
Despite the regional characteristic, the UNP Youth Initiative Program is part of a global network, serving as a center for nucleation, selection and monitoring of projects executed by young social entrepreneurs, making these accessible to the international sphere of the project activities.
Applications are made through the Laureate Brazil Award, once selected and awarded, the candidate joins the community of young social entrepreneurs and participate in activities and opportunities generated by the UNP Youth Initiative Program. In the edition of 2014, we selected four young people from social entrepreneurs in the Northeast Region.

O projeto Território Potiguar surgiu a partir da
formação de Erick Barros em Guia de Turismo e de
seu envolvimento em um projeto de extensão do IFRN
(Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia
do Rio Grande do Norte), em que o propósito era a
formação e a educação patrimonial nos bairros que
correspondem ao Centro Histórico de Natal (Cidade Alta
e Ribeira), nos anos de 2012 e 2013.
Após estudo, o aprendizado de Erick foi colocado em
prática por meio de um city tour, em que os percursos
são realizados sempre a pé pelos bairros. O projeto foi
reconhecido por seu sentimento de patrimonialismo
pela própria cidade, além de ser identificado como
um trabalho pioneiro. O projeto Território Potiguar
tem como objetivo mostrar o lado cultural da cidade,
explorando olhares a partir de pontos com valor
histórico, como igrejas, museus, praças etc.
The Territory Potiguar project arose from the formation of Erick
Barros in Tour Guide and his involvement in a project extension IFRN
(Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande
do Norte), in which the purpose was the formation and heritage
education in districts that correspond to the History Center Christmas
(Ribeira and Cidade Alta) in the years 2012 and 2013.
After study, learning Erick was put into practice by a city tour, where
the path is made by walking neighborhoods forever. The project was
recognized for its sense of patronage by the city itself as well as being
identified as a pioneering work. The Territory Potiguar project aims
to show the cultural side of the city, exploring glances from points of
historical value, such as churches, museums, squares etc.

O projeto PROMESSAS – Qualificação e Formação em
Teatro nasceu, em 2012, da ideia de mover uma ação
de apoio aos jovens em situação de vulnerabilidade
social do município, contribuindo para a qualificação
e formação desse público. Dessa maneira, a iniciativa
consiste na realização de oficinas de teatro, montagem
de espetáculo e produção cultural, com o objetivo de
promover a inclusão, qualificação e formação em teatro,
a partir da discussão de direitos humanos, emprego,
renda e acesso a cultura.
Destinado a adolescentes e jovens entre 13 e 29 anos,
o projeto já estabeleceu diversas metas, como: difusão
e promoção da prática do teatro entre a juventude
do município; inclusão da juventude em espaço de
formação, qualificação e produção cultural; incentivo a
leitura e acesso literário; desenvolvimento e inclusão da
prática do teatro em programas sociais já em andamento
no município.
The PROMISEs project – Qualification and Training in Theatre was
born, in 2012, the idea of moving an action to support young people
in situations of social vulnerability of the city, contributing to the
qualification and training of the public. Thus, the initiative consists
of making theater workshops, assembly of spectacle and cultural
production, aiming to promote inclusion, skills and training in theater,
from the discussion of human rights, employment, income and access
to culture.
Aimed at teenagers and young adults between 13 and 29 years,
the project has established several goals, such as promoting the
dissemination and practice of theater among the youth of the
county; inclusion of youth in space training, qualification and cultural
production; encourage reading and literary access; development
and inclusion of the practice of theater in social programs already
underway in the city.

Silmara Rodrigues da Costa
Silmara Rodrigues é estudante do Curso de Serviço
Social, ligada a projetos sociais e culturais, e atua como
mobilizadora social desde 2008. Juntamente com outros
jovens, criou o projeto Nossos Valores, em 2013, para
oferecer atividades artísticas, culturais e de lazer a crianças
e adolescentes da Redinha, em Natal/RN. A iniciativa
acredita na transformação social por meio da educação e
da cultura. Dessa forma, valoriza a produção criativa da
juventude; interage com a comunidade; cria alternativas
saudáveis de lazer, cultura, esporte e educação; diminui a
ociosidade e atrai os jovens para atividades que valorizam
a cidadania, a vida e a produtividade.
Atualmente, o projeto Nossos Valores atende cerca
de trinta crianças e adolescentes, entre 10 e 16 anos,
em situação de vulnerabilidade social, por meio de
atividades como: oficinas de dança de rua, graffiti,
fotografia, percussão e teatro, exibição de filmes
e prática de Slack Line. Mensalmente é realizado
um evento chamado “Revolução Urbana”, onde é
apresentado, para a comunidade e o público em geral,
tudo que é produzido nas oficinas.
Silmara Rodrigues is a Social Service course student, linked to social and
cultural projects, and acts as a social mobilizer since 2008. Along with
other young people, created the Our Values Project in 2013 to provide
artistic, cultural and leisure activities for children and teenagers from
Redinha in Natal / RN. The initiative believes in social change through
education and culture. Thus, values the creative production of youth;
interacts with the community; creates healthier alternatives for leisure,
culture, sport and education; reduces idleness and attracts young
people to activities that value citizenship, life and productivity.
Currently, the “Our Values” project serves about thirty children
and teenagers, between 10 and 16 years, in a situation of social
vulnerability, through activities such as workshops, street dance, graffiti,
photography, percussion and theater, exhibition movies and practice of
Slack Line. Monthly is held an event called “Urban Revolution”, which is
presented to the community and the public in general, everything that
is produced in the workshops.

O movimento Novo Jeito nasceu em 2010, na cidade
de Recife (PE), com a vocação de tocar corações,
mudar comportamentos, realizar ações solidárias e criar
movimentos para que mais e mais pessoas possam
trabalhar, dormir, comer, estudar e ter uma vida mais
digna em todos os aspectos. A iniciativa visa promover o
bem comum, a justiça e os sonhos.
Hoje, são mais de 20 projetos pontuais, contínuos e
de mobilizações, como uma creche “adotada” pelo
movimento e a realização de uma grande conferência na
cidade sobre Empreendedorismo Social, com o propósito
de engajar jovens para a mudança do mundo. The New Way movement was born in 2010 in the city of Recife (PE),
with the vocation to touch hearts, change behavior, conduct solidarity
actions and movements to create more and more people to work,
sleep, eat, study and have a life more worthy in all respects. The
initiative aims to promote the common good, justice and dreams.
Today there are more than 20 specific, ongoing projects and
mobilizations, as a nursery “adopted” by the movement and holding
a major conference in the city on Social Entrepreneurship, with the
purpose of engaging young people to change the world.

Em 17 de abril de 2013, o projeto Acadêmicos da
Alegria fez sua primeira visita na Fundação Centro de
Controle de Oncologia do Amazonas, responsável pelo
tratamento de diversos tipos de câncer. O pequeno
grupo, formado por três jovens, cresceu rapidamente
graças às redes sociais. Atualmente, o projeto conta
com 20 voluntários efetivos, tendo o acadêmico de
psicologia, Kennedy Ferreira, a frente da iniciativa
juntamente com mais seis coordenadores que organizam
as visitas e o treinamento dos novos voluntários.
As atividades realizadas pelo projeto no hospital são feitas
por um grupo de, no máximo, 5 pessoas. Os voluntários
interagem tanto com os pacientes quanto com os
acompanhantes, sendo que a humanização do ambiente
hospitalar se dá por meio da interação com o palhaço,
que canta e interpreta um médico que cuida de doenças
incomuns, favorecendo o riso e a conversa. O foco do
Acadêmicos da Alegria não é tirar o paciente da realidade
que ele está vivenciando, mas fazê-la menos traumática.
On April 17, 2013, the Academic Project Joy made his first visit to the
Foundation Center Control Oncology Amazon, responsible for treating
various types of cancer. The small group, formed by three young,
grew rapidly thanks to social networks. The project currently has 20
volunteers effective, and academic psychology, Kennedy Ferreira,
ahead of the initiative along with six coordinators who organize visits
and training of new volunteers.
The activities undertaken by the project in the hospital are made by
a group of no more than 5 people. Volunteers interact both with
patients and with their companions, and the humanization of the
hospital environment occurs through interaction with the clown,
who sings and plays a doctor who cares for uncommon diseases,
encouraging laughter and conversation. The focus of the Academic Joy
the patient is not taking the reality that he is experiencing, but make it
less traumatic.

UniNorte busca reconhecer os jovens empreendedores sociais, entre 18 e 29 anos, que estão empenhados em
promover mudanças significativas nas comunidades em que atuam em toda a região Norte do País.
No ano de estreia da UniNorte no Prêmio Laureate Brasil, foram indicados dois jovens que atuam na cidade
de Manaus com suas propostas empreendedoras. Para a UniNorte, é uma honra premiar projetos que
vislumbraram oportunidades na dificuldade e tiveram a habilidade de ver potencial em projetos que outros não

Na Tora Produções é uma produtora criada há dois anos,
com o objetivo de promover eventos socioculturais de
cunho pedagógico. Por intermédio de exposições de
diferentes vertentes da produção artística independente
da Região Norte, a iniciativa fortalece o elo entre artistas
e comunidade. A partir de temáticas variadas nos
eventos promovidos, a produtora consegue estabelecer
um momento de reflexão sobre a relevância social do
trabalho dos artistas envolvidos nas ações.
Prevenção de DST’s e Aids, preconceito de gênero,
apoio às instituições de caridade, valorização da
identidade linguística regional e sensibilização
ambiental são algumas das temáticas abordadas
durante as intervenções artísticas. O projeto já
facilitou a exposição do trabalho de diversos artistas
do cenário independente, distribuiu mudas de plantas
e material informativo a crianças presentes em uma
das intervenções socioeducativas em que abordou a
importância da arborização urbana, além de entregar
mais de 300 kg de alimentos às vítimas do incêndio na
comunidade Arthur Bernardes e os residentes da Casa
do Idoso, entre outras ações.
Tora Productions is a production company established two years ago,
aiming to promote socio cultural events educational profile. Through
exhibitions of various aspects of artistic production regardless of the
Northern Region, the initiative to strengthen the link between artists
and the community. From the various themes sponsored events, the
producer can set a time for reflection on the social relevance of the
work of the artists involved in the actions.
Prevention of STDs and AIDS, gender bias, supporting charities,
appreciation of regional linguistic identity and environmental
awareness are some of the themes for the artistic interventions. The
project has facilitated the exhibition of the work of many artists from
the indie scene, seedlings and distributed informational materials to
children present at one of the partner educational interventions that
addressed the importance of urban forestry, and deliver more than
300 kg of food to victims of fire at Arthur Bernardes community and
residents of the Elderly House, among other actions.
