OBJECTIVEObtain the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team that will help me grow both professionally and personally. There are always great opportunities to learn new design methodologies focused on the architectural view.

RESUMEWithin my experience, training school projects are my great advange. I have been awarded several times when my projects were selected for architectural exhibitions in different places. This motivates me to keep on being dedicated and focus on the goals set by my responsibilities, making a big effort to take the best decisions in the design process. As an architecture student I believe that my strengths are being creative, knowing my potential and being analytical to base all the decisions taken. Responsability allows me work under pressure and still obtain good results.

(Apartment building, 4th semester 2011)-Kinisi- (Latin) movement.

The building’s concept comes from the idea of movement through dephasing volumes, which is intended to symbolize a wave over Vallarta Avenue. This interacts with its context and takes advantage of the views that the city offers.

Proposal for a redesification of Guadalajara’s Downtown as a way to stop the urban sprawl. Housing permits in the area are limited to maximum levels of 11 buildings, meaning part of the potential of the area for different densities and land uses.

(Laboratory for marine resarch, 5th semester 2011)

Proposal for a program of a Lab for marine resarch located in the British Virgin Islands.

The concept comes from the basic shape of the spiral, playing with rhythmic and harmonic continuity of this figure frequently found in nature, in natural proportions, taking it to a design that uses eaves for aesthetic and functional purpose.

This is a structure composed of a double skin, a completely transparent, which serves as binding outward, creating a double view toward the courtyard and into the natural landscape surrounding the complex, and an outer structure goes in a proportional flow according to the shape of the building.

It also recreates marine figures in the inside to relate it with nature. The distribution is modular and centralized, so it allows easy access to every area, facilitating every circulation.

(Urban intervention, 6th semester 2012)

Proposal for new neighborhoods, a sustainable system of farming mixed with public space.

The concept is to take the real needs of space of all citizens, transforming it into a physical public space, improving the city's landscape, and the quality of life for all its inhabitants.

In this context, it is intended to encourage a humanistic urban development under sustainable parameters, focused on those where the population can participate actively in numerous activities, and highlight the artistic, cultural, social and the architectural qualities that define the city and its inhabitants.

The project is destined to improve the image and perception of the central avenue. The public spaces that will be modified create a secuence that will take the users to a path from the main stream, in analogy to roots that come from a central seed and make a general system that modifies the environment.

(Chroming warehouse, 9th semester 2013)

The program consists of a warehouse and administration offices, which are formally contained in a rectangular space with a permeable concept. This allows access and linkage within the rest of the architectural program, and generates a fluid space in the whole plan.

The form also responds to an extraction of 5x5 meters modules, creating grid on the outside of full and empty containers held together with a metalic structure. This aproach resulted in empty patios that not only meet an aesthetic purpose, but also facilitates crossed ventilation into the production area. Permeable walls allow the flow of air and light, and the glass helps to generate visual conection between the warehouse and the offices on the upper area and the surrounding patios.

The production area has skylights that descend harmoniously with the aim of allowing daylight to get in indirectly and breaking up the monotony of avv vtypical warehouse.

(Migration services, 10th semester 2014)

Migration is a phenomenon that, as a growing phenomenom, is invisible to the eyes of the population and the authorities on both sides of the border. Behavior of indifference, fear of criminalization and the migrant population that live in a constant crisis: lack of clothing, housing, hunger and thirst, that under policies and actions of the government increase their vulnerability to this group of people.

The SIM (Sistema de Integración Multinacional, System for International Integration) will serve as an integral support to migrants, so that the first contact for deportees and returnees in the city, may have a legal care, and humanitarian aid. Thus, we will have a successful return to their places of origin even in other countries, or the support for proper integration into society of Tijuana. This will provide an opportunity for them to be an economically active population, and change the perception in Tijuana of these people trapped behind the barrier of the provisional idea of the USA, "the other side".

With shelters, workshops, public spaces and programs to support migrant population along the Tijuana River, the SIM provides an atmosphere of dialogue and interaction between Tijuana’s people and migrants, these two centers are linked by a pedestrian walkway as an iconic idea of Tijuana’s border channel axis and a main street that goes all the way through the city. The project will be the catalyst for a revival, improving the image and quality in life of the population, using sustainable criteria.

The SIM has three buildings that serve as a system of support for migrants. This will be the first contact and registration of migrants and people deported form the USA to Tijuana.

The administration offices are located close to the border crossing, the services in this building are mainly related to registration and providing support to accomplish a safe return of the migrants to their homes. Medical and humanitarian aid will be given, as well as transfering them to local shelters, contact with the appropriate consulate for legal issues.

The social section of this project is divided into two buildings but together will lead into a social integration between migrants and people from Tijuana; one of the buildings is a shelter and the other one is a lybrary. Migrants will be transferred to the shelter for food and housing for a period of 14 days. This building also offers nursery and medical services. The educational building gives the opportunity give technical workshops that will prepare people for new jobs; the library and auditorium will help them in their education.

(Modular element for Studio Gang Architects, 7th semester 2012)

The modular element is an abstraction of a leaf turned into a curved surface to obtain an element that creates certain volume from a flat material such as wood. The module is designed in a way that it can interact with other units to make a more complex system as a result. The proposal for the material is wood so it can create a sensation of sculpted nature giving a new solid, warm and dynamic design.

The modular element is made of Machiche Wood, also known as Black Cabbagebark, this Wood is resistant to insects, moisture and is not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
