IDEAL STATE TO HOST EVENTS • Minas Gerais state is located in the central region of Brazil, near of the

main economical hubs of the country - the states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasília and Bahia;

• Characterized as the third Brazilian economy, Minas is currently the fastest growing state in the country and has 8.9% of Brazilian GDP (PIB) and represented 15.4% of Brazilian exports in 2010;

• Development of a website with information about the tourist attractions of Estrada Real and a link with ROTA members;

• Implementation of the Tourism Observatory (OdT);

• Implementation of the Ambassadors of the Estrada Real Program;

• Formation and coordination of ROTA (Organized Network for Auto-sustainable Tourism);

• Development of a program to leverage the tourism potential of the 199 cities of the Estrada Real;

•Implementation and operation of an Information Management department to analyze demand and structure a network with over 8,000 locations with GPS coordinates, and make information available via internet;

• Licensed more than 110 Estrada Real products in Brazil and abroad;

•Implementation of an External Projects division, currently offering consulting services to tourism sector in 4 Brazilian states, as well as in contact with several countries in the Latin America and Caribbean Region.

Royal Road Institute also developed, successfully, a so called PPP program (Public-Private Partnership), in partnership with the Government of the State of Minas Gerais, thru Minas Gerais State Secretariat of Tourism, with relevant results in its process of institutional promotion of the tourism towards the states of Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

CONVENTIONS CENTERS• Expominas: capacity for 45,000 people, is one of the most modern

convention centers, trade fairs and exhibitions in the country and is a benchmark in Brazilian urban architecture.

• Minascentro: capacity for 10,000 people, has diversified infrastructure and is capable of hosting events unparalleled.

• Serraria Souza Pinto: capacity for 4,000 people, part of the architectural and landscaping at Praça da Estação.

• Palácio das Artes: 1,707 seats, home theaters, galleries, cinema, library, conference and scenography workshops.

• Chevrolet Hall: capacity for 5,800 people, is the largest venue of Belo Horizonte, with theater, arena, multipurpose room and blocks.
