The graph reflects with the performance of the Dollar versus the Metical since January 2018.
Last week, according to Bloomberg, MZN lost 60 points against USD, from 59.19 to 59.79 and 4 points against ZAR, from 4.15 to 4.19. According to market information, among others, the reduction
of the supply of foreign exchange by foreign investors and exporters is the main factor for the depreciation of MZN.
In the short term, despite the depreciation of MZN last week we noted that there is resistance at the levels of 60.00, so we believe importers should delay settlement of foreign exchange requirements.

Durante a semana passada, segundo o Bloomberg e o Banco de Moçambique, o MZN perdeu 60 pontos contra o USD, de 59.19 para 59.79 e 4 pontos contra o ZAR, de 4,15 para 4.19. Segundo
informações do mercado, entre outros, a redução da oferta de divisas por parte de investidores estrangeiros e exportadores é o principal factor.
A curto prazo, visto que a tendência na última semana é para a depreciação do MZN somos da opinião que os importadores devem antecipar as suas necessidades.
