    3.3.4.5) ESTUDOSDE CAPACIDADE

    Os estudos de capacidade foram desenvolvidos de acordo com a metodologia preconizada pelo

    Highway Capacity Manual, do HRB, edio de 2000, para rodovias com pista simples, com duas

    faixas de trfego.

    Analisou-se a capacidade e determinou-se o nvel de servio ao longo dos trs subtrechos em

    estudo, para o ano de 2024 (ano de projeto), incluindo anlise de sensibilidade, considerando uma

    variao de 20% no volume de trfego para mais e para menos.

    Os resultados demonstraram que a rodovia estar operando em nveis bastante razoveis ao longo

    dos trs subtrechos. Verificou-se o Nvel de Servio C durante todo o perodo de projeto para o

    subtrecho 2, entre Itaocara e Portela enquanto no subtrecho 3, entre Portela e Ponte da Bia,

    operar no nvel de servio B ao longo do perodo em estudo, o que significa padro bastante

    razovel de qualidade, com certa folga na sua capacidade, nos dois subtrechos citados. Embora osubtrecho 1, rea urbana de Itaocara, tenha alcanado o nvel de servio E durante todo o

    perodo, inclusive na hiptese do VMD superior ao projetado em 20%, deve-se notar que a

    velocidade mdia ser de 55,2 km/h no ano inicial e chegar a 53,5 km/h ao final de 2024, sendo

    essas velocidades bastante suportveis para uma rea urbana, considerando a prioridade dos

    pedestres em relao aos veculos.
