The company
Our client is one of the largest energy companies in Latin
America.
The role
Preparation of State of Requirements (SORs)and AFEs;
Follow-up of contracts payment terms and conditions;Handle the
Cost Control data base;Develop and maintain Cost Reporting system
using Excel or Access;Develop & maintain all Cost
Reports;Produce expenditure phasing by each department;Execute Cost
Control for both Contract and In house management costs;Carry out
cost Risk Analysis and management reserve utilization
(contingency);Produce estimates as required and annual
budgets;Control C ontractors reimbursable manpower and all related
services;To ensure all contractors invoices are verified before
submission for payment and are fully in compliance with
administrative contractual requirements;Support Project Engineers
in developing estimates and contracts cost control;To provide
services including assistance during contract preparation, bid
evaluation, contract administration and verification of contractual
payments.
Profile
Degree in an Engineering Discipline (mechanical, process, e
tc.);Experience in cost control and contract administration in an
oil & gas Industry (Upstream) ;Knowledge of computer based
tools, Microsoft Office, SAP (advantage), etc.;Good command o f
spoken and written Portuguese and English;Broad, multi-discipline
knowledge and experience of onshore Oil and Gas Upstream projects,
with a fair understanding of associated field activities;Good
knowledge and practice with contracts purchase order and service
orders general terms and conditions.
Experience in preparing and executing control procedures for
cost control during early phase of project development;Good
practice in budget follow-up and cost allocation;Ability to
initiate and promote the discipline of cost engineering;Ability to
create/update cost and planning estimating/control methods and
procedures to reflect the latest engineering and project execution
philosophies;Good knowledge and practice with contracts purchase
order and service orders general terms and conditions;Familiar with
the planning requirements during early phase of project
development;Ability to initiate and promote the discipline of
planning engineering and cost engineering;Ability to assist in
management reviews of existing projects;Ability to create/update
planning, estimation control methods and procedures to reflect the
latest engineering & project execution philosophies.
