compreender textos em Lngua Inglesa.

Por que importante ler textos em outras lnguas (em

especial, lngua inglesa)?

Ler textos em outras lnguas de suma importncia, pois

atravs desta leitura, torna-se possvel um contato com novas

culturas e novos conhecimentos.

A informao uma ferramenta de trabalho importante e oconhecimento de outro idioma, em especial o ingls, se tornou

fundamental para o acesso a informaes mais diversificadas.

Em algum ponto da vida acadmica, passa-se do patamaronde aprende-se a ler para onde l-se para aprender.

Qual a finalidade das tcnicas de leitura?

As estratgias de leitura podem ser definidas como planos pararesolver problemas encontrados na construo do significado

do texto.

IMPORTANTE: Nem sempre o objetivo de estudo da lngua a

proficincia, mas sim, tornar-se apto a ler textos neste idioma,

seja por lazer, trabalho ou estudo.

The purpose of this article is analyzing the basis of WebQuests. During this

research, 483 WebQuests (written in Portuguese and available online from July

to October, 2007) were counted and surveyed, as well as analyzed. The

evaluation was focused on the components and on some indicators linked tousability. The results showed that most failures (concerning components) are on

tasks, resources and evaluation; and the biggest failure (concerning usability) is

the lack of menu in most of the samples analyzed. It was also verified that only

41% of the WebQuests were really true ones. The other ones were simple

WebExercises with daily activities that do not lead the student to take any

advantage of the educational potential that the web offers on the knowledgeconstruction.

INGREDIENTS

1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie

1/2 cup unsalted butter

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/4 cup water

1/2 cup white sugar1/2 cup packed brown sugar

8 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in

flour to form a paste. Add water, white sugar and brown sugar, and bring to a boil. Reducetemperature and let simmer.

Place the bottom crust in your pan. Fill with apples, mounded slightly. Cover with a lattice

work of crust. Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust. Pour slowly so that it

does not run off.

Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175

degrees C). Continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes, until apples are soft.

coming days to treat a malignant tumor in his larynx, a hospital official said
