Bauru was founded in 1896 and has its origins in

the cultivation of coffee, in the 19th century. Over

the decades the city has received immigrants from

different nationalities. Nowadays Bauru is a medium-

sized town with a population of about 372,000 people*,

and it’s strategically located at the confluence of

important roads and rail connections, having one of the

How to reach Bauru?
