Offensive characteristics

When they have the ball the team plays in a 1-4-3-3.

The rigth and left defender open wide a lot and join the attack often.

They have a defensive midfielder that helps the central defenders constantly

(this defenders play with a big gap between them and up on the field).

They play with 2 wingers that change their style, or open wide or take

advantage of the inside game. Their striker as a good mobility on the attack,

being a reference when the teams plays long balls forward.

The midfielder triangle shape changes according with the players on the field,

when Jájá is on they have 2 defensive midfielders, when Canteros is on they

play with 2 offensive midfileders

Defensive characteristics

When they don’t have the ball they play in a 1-4-2-3-1, with a defensive line starting

to press on the 2nd third. They pressure the opponent midfielders on the center

leaving space for the central defenders to have the ball.

They try to push the opponents to play through the sides, but they get vulnerable if

the opponents get to the final third, the defensive lines stay to close to each other

allowing the other team to keep possession and change the ball from side to side.

Comments

Gabriel (17) is a left winger and he brings speed to the game

along the sides; he is starting to be a reference; he helps the

left defender to recover balls.

Paulinho (26) is a winger that plays on the final third; he doesn’t

helps defensively, he waits for the ball to arrange crosses or to

assist outside the box; sometimes he plays more inside to get

the second ball.

Kayke (27) gets in to second striker; figths for the ball

possession and tries to win the back of the last line of

defenders; he looks always to support the other striker and the

offensive midfielders to get attacking combinations

• When the opponents win a

second ball on the second third

its easy to attack the goal
