Isso significa trabalharmos de forma colaborativa para assegurar prosperidade e bem-estar a todos, protegendo nosso planeta e fortalecendo os laços de paz entre as pessoas. A começar por nós!

In 2018, we continued growing with students, teachers, collaborators, parents and community as together we follow the premises of UNESCO’s Sustainable Development Goals. We will keep working collaboratively to ensure prosperity and well-being for all, protecting our planet and strengthening the bonds of peace between people. It starts with us!

O projeto Kindness Day, do Year 1, faz parte de uma das Unidades de Indagação, “Como nos Organizamos” que fala sobre o que é uma comunidade e como ela é organizada.Percebemos que os alunos entenderam que uma pessoa consegue fazer a diferença na vida de outras pessoas e que gentileza gera gentileza.

The Year 1 project “Kindness Day” is part of the unit “How we Organize Ourselves”, which covers what is community and how it is organized. We could observe that our students learned that one person can make a difference in other people´s lives and that kindness generates kindness.

Alunos e professores Esfera integram Mindfulness ao currículo: ferramentas para obter atenção plena no presente, equilíbrio, assim como ampliar as possibilidades de aprendizagens cada vez mais significativas num contexto de escola, de família e de vida!

A Feira de Ciências, no Ensino Fundamental II, foi o resultado de projetos voltados ao desenvolvimento de compreensões e habilidades conectadas aos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Ssustentável, em especial modo, com relação às metas 3 e 6.

Esfera students and teachers are integrating Mindfulness into the curriculum. Together they are discovering tools to develop awareness and balance, as well as expanding the possibilities of meaningful learning at school, with their families and in life!

The Science Fair in Middle School showcased the students´ projects which were aimed at developing understandings and skills linked to the UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals, especially in relation to goals 3 and 6.

III Esfera UNEleições 2018Este evento foi criado para apresentar aos alunos o entendimento das Eleições Gerais brasileiras. Os alunos foram encorajados a enviar soluções por e-mail para os candidatos à presidência do Brasil e ao governo de São Paulo de cada Partido Político ou Coalizão do Brasil.

This event was designed to introduce to

the students the understanding of the

Brazilian General Elections. Students were

encouraged to send solutions by email

to the Candidates to Presidency of Brazil

and Government of São Paulo from every

Brazilian Political Party or Coalition.

Durante a unidade de indagação, os alunos coletaram e organizaram dados reais sobre os recursos naturais existentes em nossa região, identificando como os seres vivos dependem deles. Ao final da unidade os alunos criaram “O Desafio Verde” e apresentaram na nossa Feira de Ciências.

compostagem em casa e agora, com a ajuda da minha filha,

estou animada para começar.”

During the Unit of Inquiry, students collected and organized actual data on natural resources in our neighborhood, identifying how living things depend on them. At the end of the unit, students created “The Green Challenge” and presented at our Science Fair.

“It was great to see a change in my daughter.

She is taking quicker showers. She used

to spend a long time in the bathroom and she is now using less

water.”

A Exhibition é um compilado do PYP - Primary Years Programme. É uma oportunidade para os alunos demonstrarem seu aprendizado ao longo do Ensino Fundamental I. Através da Exhibition, os alunos puderam mostrar sua iniciativa, organização, cooperação, compromisso, criatividade de pensamento e capacidade de se comunicar.

Exhibition is a cumulative moment for the Primary Years Programme. It is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning from througout the Elementary School. Through the Exhibition students can show their initiative, organization, cooperation and compromise and creativity in their thinking and ability to communicate their knowledege.

Em 2018, aproximadamente quarenta alunos participaram do projeto comunitário em diversas comunidades e instituições da cidade.

This year forty students participated in the Community Project which benefited various communities and institutions in São José dos Campos.

O Projeto Comunitário é um projeto que, primeiramente, nasceu com a intenção de realizar intervenções positivas voltadas à comunidade escolar. Porém, a partir de 2018, após a certificação MYP-IB, o Projeto Comunitário é dirigido a comunidades externas, escolhidas pelos alunos, nas quais estes realizam uma intervenção positiva, mediante contato direto com as próprias comunidades.

The Community Project was initially developed with the intention of carrying out positive interventions within the Esfera school community. In 2018, the project evolved, in alignment with the MYP-IB certification, with the Community Project now being directed at external communities, chosen by the students, in which they carry out a positive intervention, through direct contact with the communities themselves.

International Bulletin MuralO nosso mural tem como propósito evidenciar como alguns dos 17 Objetivos para um Desenvolvimento Sustentável são desenvolvidos com os alunos do EFI e EFII ao longo do ano. Também elaboramos contribuições sobre datas comemorativas de relevância local.

The purpose of our Unesco mural is to show how a certain number of SDG have been part of elementary and middle school inquiry projects and also eventual recess projects. We also elaborated contributions to celebrate commemorative dates of local relevance

Este mural foi desenvolvido em torno do tema da água e

seus usos indispensáveis para a sobrevivência do ser humano.

Começamos a ano olhando para as diferentes formas que o começo do ano é celebrado

ao redor do mundo, a partir das celebrações do Ano Novo Chinês.

Dados sobre animais, seus habitats e a extinção de

espécies brasileiras foram expostas no mural dedicado ao

meio ambiente.

Mural dedicado ao Mês do Folclore, com lendas, parlendas, músicas e muitas curiosidades.

Nesta data comemorativa, o mural foi dedicado ao Índio e todas as riquezas que nos

proporcionaram.
