Exposição retrospectiva de Basquiat (1960-1988), inédita no país, com mais de 80 quadros, desenhos e gravuras. O artista desenvolveu um estilo novo e expressivo e tornou-se um dos destaques da retomada da pintura fi gurativa na década de 1980. Sua obra personifi ca o caráter de Nova York nos anos 1970 e 1980, quando a mistura de empolgação e decadência criou um paraíso de criatividade.

Janela de Dramaturgia é uma mostra de escrita teatral contemporânea que acontece desde 2012 em Belo Horizonte. O evento apresenta, uma vez ao mês – de agosto a dezembro – a leitura de textos teatrais inéditos de autores nacionais e estrangeiros.
A abertura da sua 6ª edição, no Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, conta ainda com uma oficina de dramaturgia, uma mesa-redonda e uma palestra com dramaturgo estrangeiro convidado.

Uma homenagem aos recém completados 70 anos de idade do multi-instrumentista, compositor e arranjador Egberto Gismonti.
Serão três grandes shows dirigidos e regidos por Gaia Wilmer, com participação de André Mehmari, Gabriel Grossi, Jaques Morelenbaum, Mauro Senise, Ricardo Herz, Yamandu Costa e do próprio Egberto. Em cada noite, Gaia apresentará arranjos inéditos para composições de Egberto escritos para sua big band, formada por 19 instrumentistas de diferentes gerações e provenientes de diferentes regiões do Brasil, e seus convidados especiais.

Figura ativa na capital mineira, o jovem trombonista João Machala se apresenta na série de shows dos vencedores do 18º Prêmio BDMG Instrumental. Ele interpretará o repertório premiado ao lado do convidado especial Raul de Souza, consagrado compositor, arranjador e trombonista brasileiro.
Na banda, Breno Mendonça, Felipe Vilas Boas, Igor Neves, Aloízio Horta e Gabriel Buce.
A Orquestra OPUS homenageia Michael Jackson, o Rei do Pop. O espetáculo trará suas principais canções desde quando era integrante do Jackson 5 até os últimos momentos de sua vida, passando pelas românticas até as mais agitadas.
A Orquestra propõe uma leitura instrumental inédita para homenagear o artista, que completaria 60 anos no dia do espetáculo.

O Programa CCBB Educativo – Arte & Educação desenvolve ações que estimulam a experiência, criação, investigação e reflexão através de processos pedagógicos, artísticos e curatoriais. Essas partilhas acontecem por meio de trocas culturais e metodologias de educação que garantem acesso amplo e inclusivo ao patrimônio e sua diversidade.
A programação dialoga com as exposições do Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil. Destina-se a todos os públicos com ações inclusivas e afirmativas para estreitar as relações com a comunidade escolar, educadores, pessoas com deficiência, famílias, organizações não governamentais, artistas, movimentos sociais e profissionais dos campos da arte, cultura e interessados.
As atividades se articulam às exposições Jean-Michel Basquiat – Obras da Coleção Mugrabi, em cartaz, e Museu do Futebol na Área, em temporada a partir de 15/8.

Os educadores realizam visitas agendadas inclusivas com grupos escolares e não escolares, visando criar um espaço de diálogo e troca de experiências e saberes aliado às práticas artísticas, culturais e sociais abordadas pelas exposições.
As visitas são oferecidas nas manhãs, tardes e noites, acolhendo os estudantes na sua diversidade de realidades e contextos educacionais. No momento do agendamento, é possível escolher entre opções de visitas à exposição acrescidas de prática de ateliê ou visita patrimonial.
Às sextas, às 14h30, há um horário disponível para visita em Libras exclusivo para grupos agendados.

For the first time in its ten years of history, the Soccer Museum (one of the most visited museums in the country) will bring a part of the experience that has already enchanted over three million people beyond the limits of the state of São Paulo.
The traveling exhibition Soccer Museum in the Area arrives in Belo Horizonte, after visiting Recife and Rio de Janeiro. This interactive exhibit features a wide content, presenting the history of our soccer to the fans from Minas Gerais.

Based on the eponymous novel by Albert Camus, the play is a true pièce de résistance. The plague bacillus is used to alert the public to the absurd conditions of an allegorically selfish society.

WEDDING PLAY
A never-before-seen retrospective exhibition of Basquiat (1960-1988) featuring over 80 paintings, drawings, and engravings. The artist developed a new and expressive style, and became an influential name in figurative painting in the 1980s. Jean-Michel Basquiat’s work embodies the soul of the New York from the 1970s and 1980s, when a combination of excitement and decadence created a haven of creativity.
Window of Dramaturgy is a contemporary playwright exhibit that has been held in Belo Horizonte since 2012. Once a month (from August to December), the event presents a reading of unpublished theatrical texts of national and international authors.
The opening of its 6th edition, at CCBB Belo Horizonte, will also feature a drama workshop, a roundtable, and a lecture with guest foreign playwright.

There will be three great concerts directed and conducted by Gaia Wilmer, with André Mehmari, Gabriel Grossi, Jaques Morelenbaum, Mauro Senise, Ricardo Herz, Yamandu Costa, and Egberto himself. Each evening, the Gaia Wilmer Big Band – composed of 19 instrumentalists from different generations and regions of Brazil – and their guests perform unprecedented arrangements for compositions by Egberto.
August 3: Gaia Wilmer Big Band invites Jaques
An active figure in Belo Horizonte, the young trombonist João Machala will perform this month in the series of concerts by the winners of the 18th BDMG Instrumental Award. He will play his award-winning repertoire, alongside Raul de Souza, a renowned Brazilian composer, arranger, and trombonist.
Breno Mendonça, Felipe Vilas Boas, Igor Neves, Aloízio Horta, and Gabriel Buce complete the band.
The OPUS Orchestra honors Michael Jackson, the King of Pop. The concert will feature his main hits, from the Jackson 5 era to his last productions, encompassing both romantic ballads and lively songs.
The Orchestra proposes an instrumental reading to honor the artist, who would turn 60 on the day of the concert.

Educators lead scheduled and inclusive visits with school and non-school groups, aiming to create a space for dialogues, as well as exchanges of experiences and knowledge, together with artistic, cultural, and social practices addressed by the CCBB exhibits.
The visits are offered in three shifts (mornings, afternoons, and evenings), aiming to welcome the students and their diverse social and educational contexts. At the time of the appointment, it is possible to choose among the following options: tour + workshop, tour to the exhibition, or heritage tour.
On Fridays, at 2:30pm, Guided Tours in Brazilian Sign Language, exclusive for scheduled groups.

Aesthetic Afrofuturism, outskirts culture, rap, and Battle of Tags.
Multiple Ancestor is a platform of exchanges between the audience and masters linked to different knowledge and cultural practices, combining memory, affection, and heritage.
This edition will feature artistic and cultural manifestations of avant-garde African diaspora with Batekoo and Classic’s Hip Hop.

A training course for artists, educators, critics, curators, and other professionals in the field of art and cultural production that covers design, production, and expography aspects, and reflects on the specificities of an exhibition.
