Charlotte Macaux Perelman, o nome por trás do projecto ‘M. Residence’, é arquitecta e designer de interiores e cedo começou a sua carreira com o, mundialmente conceituado Phillipe Starck. Foi a cargo da arquitecta, e da sua empresa Studio CPM, que ficou a remodelação de um apartamento, na fantasiosa Paris. Do espa-ço com 350m², destaca-se o pé direito, cujos 4m são amenizados com candeei-ros Ingo Maurer, ‘Paul et Joe’, num ambiente intimista e confortável. Na sala de estar, jantar e quartos, Pierre Paulin assina mesas e cadeiras (qual mobiliário desenhado para o palácio residencial francês, aquando do escritório do antigo presidente François Miterrand!). Propõe-se o sonho no coração pari-siense, num cenário cândido, amplo e resplandecente para uma família de cinco pessoas. Entre acabamentos em madeira de carvalho e tons-terra, as texturas estilizadas ressaem harmoniosas. A nova casa de banho principal, em mármore Carrara, integra o espaço em formato triangular, realçando o seu aspecto labiríntico. Macaux Perelman recriou uma versão contemporânea do ambiente luxuoso das casas de banho palaciais dos anos 40, com uma saliente banheira oval. O enquadramento da cama na estrutura em madeira de carvalho que a envolve, assim como o sofá em frente, transmite conforto e privacidade.Os quartos das crianças foram concebidos como um estúdio com uma mezza-nine íntima que lhes garante privacidade na parte superior, enquanto que em baixo, a área é dedicada aos estudos. No da menina, a prioridade parece recair na atmosfera e nos tons principescos rosados. Já a parte social, uma sala de jantar de 35m² irrompe, graciosamente. O gosto do cliente – um bibliófilo – permitiu a criação de uma ambiência bibliotecária “pública e contemporânea”, com prateleiras uniformes, embutidas em toda a parede. Uma inteligente e equilibrada aposta na miscelânia de estética e funcionalidade. Et voilá, pelas mãos do Atelier de Charlotte Macaux Perelman, um apartamento parisiense, totalmente personalizado e reformulado consoante o gosto do clien-te, num misto de fluidez e funcionalidade. Mais que perfeito seria abrir uma janela da ‘M.Residence’ nos Campos Elísios… Quiçá. ::

Charlotte Macaux Perelman, the name behind the ‘M. Residence’ project, is an architect and interior designer that started her career early on with the world-renowned Phillipe starck. The responsibility for the refurbishment of an apart-ment in dreamlike Paris was given to the architect and her company studio CPM. One of the most striking features of this 350m² apartment is the ceiling height, at 4 metres, which is softened by the ingo Maurer, ‘Paul et Joe’ lamps, creating an intimate and comfortable atmosphere. in the living room, dining room and bedrooms, Pierre Paulin signs the tables and chairs (just like when he designed the furniture for the French presidential pal-ace, when designing the office of the former president François Miterrand!). now a dream is presented in the heart of Paris, in a candid, spacious and luminous setting for a family of five. The stylised textures stand out harmoniously among the oak wood finishes and earthy tones. The new bathroom, in Carrara marble, is integrated into the space in a triangular shape, heightening the labyrinth-like feel. Macaux Perelman has recreated a contemporary version of the luxurious environment of palatial bathrooms in the 1940s, with a free-standing oval bathtub. The framing of the bed in the oak struc-ture around it, as well as the sofa in front of it, transmits comfort and privacy.The children’s bedrooms were designed as a studio with an intimate mezzanine which ensures their privacy on the upper level, while providing a lower level dedicated to studying. in the girl’s room, the priority seems to be given to the atmosphere and the princess-like pink tones. in the common areas of the home, a 35m² dining room unfolds graciously. The taste of the client – a bibliophile – permitted the creation of a library atmosphere with a “public and contemporary” feel, with uniform shelves, fitted over the whole wall. an intelligent and balanced investment in the mixture of aesthetics and functionality. et voilá, in the hands of the Charlotte Macaux Perelman studio, a Parisian apartment has been entirely personalised and refurbished according to the taste of the client, with a mixture of fluidity and functionality. even more than perfect would be to open a window of the ‘M.residence’ onto the Champs-elysées…Who knows… ::
