Otoch Peepen, Mayan name that means "The house of butterflies", is a company

specialized in raising butterflies to release at any special occasion like Weddings, Anniversaries, Openings, Birthdays, and other special moments.

Our main goal, is to provide a special touch on your event, by making your

invitees appreciate the beauty and environmental importance of butterflies.Butterflies' producers and marketeers.

We suggest two different ways to release the butterflies:

Individual: Give the opportunity to every one of your special ones to have one box containing a butterfly to be released at any moment of the event.

Groupal: You let us know the total amount of butterflies you want to offer, and we

deliver them in a beautiful container ready to be released all at the same time.

In both cases, once the butterflies are released, they will begin to fly and they will offer

a magnificent and emotive show to all the attendees, by symbolizing love and the

beginning of a new age with their flight.

Mexican ancient cultures believed that butterflies symbolized the Divinity of love and flowers, and they were related with the union of

opposites forces, like fire and water. And due to the life cycle of

butterflies, they also represented the constant change and the beauty

that emerge from transformations.

Our farm is located in the city of Cancun, so we are the only producers in the

The butterflies are important for the environment because they pollinate

a great variety of flowers in this way they contribute to the constant

growth of the associated flora with them Butterflies' producers and marketeers.

In addition, butterflies are indicator species because they offer a signal of

the health of the ecosystem due to the fact that they live where the native flora have not been destroyed and replaced by other species.

Currently, the loss of the habitat produced by human being is one of the main

threats for butterflies.

This way, when we release a butterfly to its natural environment; we

collaborate to the recovery of these wonderful creatures!

The “ ware

”,is a handicraft basket created by Raramuri indian women from the Sierra Tarahumara at the State of Chihuahua in Northean México.

Most or the handicraft created for these women are made of a plant named

Soto or by pine leaves. Originally this kind of hadicraft baskets were used to

keep food and grain. Today they are part of hadicraft productos offered to

tourists. At Otoch Peepen we participate in the social development of

differente communities
