La creación de Grés da Navarra esta asociada a una experiencia de veinte años en la

fabricación de Grés Extrusionado natural de altísima calidad y esta presente en los

mercados de más alto nivel desde entonces.

Las arcillas naturales y materias primas que utilizamos son de primera calidad y son

las más reconocidas de toda la Península Ibérica.

Nuestro método de fabricación por extrusión horizontal demuestra la innovación a la

hora de realizar este producto tradicional que es cocido a altas temperaturas (1250º) y

que por lo tanto tiene una baja porosidad. No contentos con esta característica la baldosa

es impermeabilizada a la salida del horno para garantizar un sellado del 100% de la

pieza y una absorción nula, tratamiento este que no altera el aspecto y color naturales

manteniendo por tanto toda su belleza.

Las soluciones estéticas que proponemos sugieren un vanguardismo que abarca tanto

ambientes exteriores como interiores y ofrecen también acabados no solo naturales

como esmaltados.

En Grés de Navarra estamos preocupados con el aspecto ambiental y por ello nos

preocupamos en reciclar prácticamente la totalidad de los residuos producidos en

nuestras plantas. Existe, inclusive, un protocolo con universidades de renombre

internacional para la investigación sobre la incorporación de residuos de otros sectores

que ayuden no solamente el medio ambiente sino que también mejore todavía mas

las características intrínsecas del producto final.

Nuestro laboratorio interno en colaboración con laboratorios homologados asegura

un control de calidad riguroso en todos los procesos de investigación y desarrollo

así como garantizan el mantenimiento de los elevados padrones de calidad definidos

en Grés de Navarra.

La obtención del sello de calidad ISO 9001:2000 es una prueba más de la

The creation of Grés de Navarra is closely linked with a twenty year experience

in the manufacture of high quality extruded clinker and has been present in very

demanding markets ever since.

The natural clays and raw materials that we use are of first quality and are

recognised so all over the Iberian Peninsula.

The innovation of the product can already be seen through the horizontal extrusion

method and the high temperatures practised (1250º) which result in a low porous

tile. Not satisfied with such a result we then treat the tile at the kiln’s exit with

an oil repellent product which ensures 100% sealing properties and non existent

water absorption values. This is achieved while maintaining the original appearance

and colour and therefore its beauty.

The aesthetic solutions that we offer imply an avant-garde vision of this sector

which include exterior as well as interior designs in both natural and glazed finish.

In Grés de Navarra we are particularly concerned with the environment and we

recycle almost the total amount of residues generated by our factories. There is

even a protocol signed with world renowned universities for the research and

development regarding recycling materials from other sectors, not only helping

the preservation of the environment but improving even more the final quality of

our products.

Our laboratories in collaboration with credited institutions ensure a rigorous quality

control in every aspect of research and development as well as the maintenance

of the high quality control during the production process.

Recomendaciones y Normas

6 Para rejuntar se deben emplear productosespecíficos recomendados por nuestrosservicios técnicos ya que estos garantizanla flexibilidad e impermeabilización adecuadasy al mismo tiempo pueden absorber lastensiones y dilataciones de la estructura.

7 En el caso de la aplicación de nuestrasbaldosas en el exterior es necesariopreparar el firme con adhesivos especialespara evitar la formación de bolsas de aireque puedan separar el material del suelo.

8 Se deberá crear una cierta inclinación enpavimentos exteriores para asegurar undrenaje adecuado y así evitar acumulaciónde aguas.

9 Cumpliendo la normativa actual decolocación de cerámica extrusionada paraexteriores junto con cementos colaespeciales para exterior resistentes a lasheladas (Norma UNE 12004 – C1), seaconseja la colocación de nuestrosproductos, con CEMENTO COLA PQEXTERIOR de la firma , lacual cumple dicha norma.

10 Se tiene que utilizar una junta de dilataciónentre el pavimento y los elementosestructurales que lo rodean (pared,columna, escaleras etc. )

1 Due to the rustic nature of our productsthere could be a slight variation concerningcolour and sizes. These differences areintentional and help to enhance its naturalcharacteristics. It is strongly advised touse tiles from different boxes while layingthe tiles in order to achieve an overallhomogeneous and natural effect.

2 It is compulsory to use joints between6mm and 10mm to minimise the sizedifferences. These joints also serve as atension absorbent between the tiles, thedifferent mortar layers and the structuralsurface. This aspect is an important onesince it avoids the appearance of crackson tiles applied on exterior surfaces. Theseare caused by shrinkage and expansionsdue to thermal shock.

3 The joints can never achieve the samesize since the tiles are never the samesize themselves.

4 If the surface is going to be subjected totension it is better to protect it with ametallic net.

5 The tiles should always be aligned withthe marks on the back of the tile pointingin the same direction.

1 Debido a la naturaleza rústica de nuestrosproductos, estos pueden presentar diferenciasde tonalidad y dimensión. Esta diferencia esintencional y potencia sus característicasintrínsecas. Para ello se deberá utilizar piezasde cajas diferentes para obtener un acabadoy destonificación mas natural.

2 Es obligatorio la utilización de juntas entre6mm y 10mm para disimular esasdiferencias dimensionales e igualmenteservir como amortiguador de tensionesentre las piezas, los diferentes estratos yla superficie de la estructura. Este aspectoes particularmente importante ya quepuede evitar roturas en el pavimentoexterior debido a las contracciones ydilataciones provocadas por variacionesde temperatura extremas.

3 Ya que las baldosas no presentan lasmismas medidas las juntas nunca podránser iguales en anchura.

4 En caso de superficies sujetas a esfuerzosde flexión , reforzar con una malla metálica.

5 Colocar la cola de Milano/ estrías queaparece en la parte posterior de la piezasiempre en la misma dirección.

9 In accordance with the European norm(UNE 12004-C1) we recommend theproduct Cemento Cola PQ Exterior fromthe firm which guaranteesthe application and adherence of tiles onexterior surfaces which are going to besubjected to frost conditions.

10 An expansion joint should be used betweenthe flooring and the structural elementssurrounding it such as walls, columns,staircases etc.

11 It is not permitted the use of cement,mortar, concrete or any other rigidcomponents which do not offer enoughflexibility as joint fillers.

12 If you use coloured joints these shouldnever be of the following types: anthraciteblack, pink or red since they contain strongadditives which are hard to remove.

13 The joint residues should be cleaned rightafter the application of the joints since itavoids the possibility of the continuationof the drying process and helps in thecleaning operation.

14 We recommend the use of DESEX 60(Exteriors) and DESEX 60N (for interiors)as cement removers from the firmPequinsa, S.L.

15 Gres de Navarra strongly recommendsthe sealing of the joints in order to avoidpossible infiltrations.

16 Since our natural tiles have an oil-repellenttreatment it is strictly prohibited to usecleaning or maintenance products notrecommended by our services especiallythose with a high pH degree or a veryacid content since it may damage thesealing properties thus rendering themuseless.

11 No se utilizarán cemento, mortero,hormigón u otros materiales que seanrígidos y poco flexibles para el rejuntado.

12 Si se utilizan juntas de color nunca utilizarlas de tipo: negro de humo, rosa o rojo yaque contienen aditivos difíciles de remover.

13 La junta se t iene que l impiarinmediatamente después de su colocaciónpara evitar que fragüe y dificultar suposterior limpieza.

14 Para la eliminación de restos de cementode obra se recomienda el uso del quita-cementos DESEX 60 (para exteriores) yDESEX 60N (para interiores) de la firmaPequinsa, S.L.

15 Grés de Navarra aconse ja l aimpermeabilización de la junta de selladocon el fin de evitar infiltraciones.

16 Ya que nuestras baldosas naturales tienenun tratamiento hidrooleofugante no sepueden emplear productos de limpieza omantenimiento ajenos a Grés de Navarraespecialmente aquellos que contengan unpH elevado o muy acido ya que puedendañar el mencionado tratamiento y anularsus características impermeabilizantes.

17 Las manchas se deberán limpiar almomento de ocurrir ya que el dejarlassecar dificulta su posterior limpieza.

18 Los cortes en las piezas se tienen queefectuar con disco fino de diamante ymaquinas de corte a agua que garantizanun acabado mas regular.

19 Debido a las pequeñas diferencias entreproducciones se aconseja quedarse en stockun 5 % adicional del material que se necesite.

20 Las fotografías presentes en este catalogosirven solo como aproximación a loscolores y acabados reales.

21 Gres de Navarra se reserva el derechode alterar las características técnicas desus productos sin previo aviso debido aalteraciones productivas imprevistas.

22 No se admiten reclamaciones despuésde la colocación del producto.

17 When stains occur due to everyday use,these should be cleaned immediately sinceif they are allowed to dry the cleaningprocess becomes more difficult.

19 Since there are always small differencesamong different productions it is advisedto keep around an extra 5% of the intendedproduct in stock for future needs.
