MESA DA PALAVRA ENTREGA TOTAL A DEUS E AOS IRMÃOS
Na liturgia do 5º Domingo Comum ecoa, com insistência, a preocupação de Deus no sentido de apontar ao homem o caminho da salvação e da vida definitiva. A Palavra de Deus garante-nos que a salvação passa por uma vida vivida na escuta atenta dos projectos de Deus e na doação total aos irmãos. Na primeira leitura, Jahwéh apresenta a Israel a proposta de uma nova Aliança. Essa Aliança implica que Deus mude o coração do Povo, pois só com um coração transformado o homem será capaz de pensar, de decidir e de agir de acordo com as propostas de Deus. A segunda leitura apresenta-nos Jesus Cristo, o sumo-sacerdote da nova Aliança, que Se solidariza com os homens e lhes aponta o caminho da salvação. Esse caminho (e que é o mesmo caminho que Jesus seguiu) passa por viver no diálogo com Deus, na descoberta dos seus desafios e propostas, na obediência radical aos seus projectos. O Evangelho convida-nos a olhar para Jesus, a aprender com Ele, a segui-l’O no caminho do amor radical, do dom da vida, da entrega total a Deus e aos irmãos. O caminho da cruz parece, aos olhos do mundo, um caminho de fra-casso e de morte; mas é desse caminho de amor e de doação que brota a vida verdadeira e eterna que Deus nos quer oferecer.

Annual Archdiocesan Mass of Remembrance Join Us on April 24, 2018
The Mass of Remembrance is a time for reflection on the lives of our children who have died from any cause. The causes are numerous but the resulting emotions of pain, longing, and sorrow are the same. Perhaps one of the most misunderstood and often overlooked losses is of miscarriage. Too frequently it is seen as less than other deaths of children, but for those who have experienced miscarriage, it is no less painful. Parents wish these children to be remembered and the Mass of Re-membrance provides this opportunity. Please join us in praying for children who have died by miscarriage, illness, or any cause, and for their families. CATECHISM ADULT CLASSES
Starting April 29, 2018 there will be classes for adults who need
to receive Confirmation. Classes will be held at 10:30A.M. to
