PREFÁCIO À NONA EDIÇÃO EM ALEMÃO

Nesta edição da Chave Lingüística há algumas poucas correções. Têm a ver com correções de algumas explicações gramaticais (nas edições anteriores, sempre havia alguns erros tipográficos que se introduziam). Há, também, algumas expressões colocadas em melhores termos, relacionadas com questões que se acham nos comentários mais recentes.O fato de já terem sido impressos 45.000 exemplares encheu o nosso coração de alegria, mormente por ser esta uma obra que não visa a simples edificação, mas sim, oferecer uma ajuda puramente lingüística. É uma nova comprovação que demonstra quão forte é o desejo entre os estudantes sinceros da Palavra e os leitores esforçados de atingirem uma compreensão mais profunda da Palavra de Deus com a ajuda do texto original. Que o Senhor da Palavra abençoe todos estes queridos amigos e estudantes da nossa Bíblia fiel!

PREFÁCIO À REVISÃO EM INGLÊS

O Sprachlicher Schtüssel já passou por numerosas edições em alemão e revelou ser de grande ajuda para os estudantes da santa Palavra de Deus. Todos quantos já o usaram com imenso proveito têm uma grande dívida de gratidão ao estudioso homem de Deus, Fritz Rienecker.No dia 15 de agosto de 1965, o trabalho terreno de Fritz Rienecker chegou ao fim. O Senhor a quem ele tanto amava chamou-o para o Lar depois de um ministério frutífero aqui na terra. Suas muitas obras literárias ainda vivem e continuam a ser usadas por aqueles que procuram estudar a Bíblia. O Sr. Rienecker pretendia escrever outros dois livros que serviriam de suplemento à Chave Lingüística. Um deles trataria dos conceitos teológicos das Escrituras e o outro forneceria o pano de fundo que explicaria o mundo do Novo Testamento. A realização desta visão foi interrompida pela sua morte.A tradução e a revisão da Chave Lingüística procuraram, de modo limitado, cumprir o propósito pretendido pelas duas obras que Rienecker tinha a intenção de escrever, mas há numerosas referências novas a outras obras onde a matéria sobre o pano de fundo pode ser achada. A revisão inclui uma quantidade mais ampla de referências à obras gramaticais, comentários, artigos nas revistas teológicas e informações históricas; estas foram especialmente adaptadas para o leitor em português. A citação de uma obra não significa que a posição teológica do seu autor é endossada, mas somente que aquela citação específica foi considerada valiosa no que diz respeito ao seu entendimento histórico ou gramatical.Devo à minha família, aos meus parentes e amigos uma palavra de gratidão pela sua longa paciência durante as muitas horas de trabalho com Rienecker. O ditado de Jesus: “ muitos são chamados, mas poucos escolhidos”, pode ser aplicado também aos estudantes do grego do Novo Testamento.Não é segredo que a maioria daqueles que foram “chamados” para estudar o koinê, não se encontram entre os pastores “escolhidos” que usam regularmente o texto original no preparo de seus sermões e nas suas leituras devocionais.A Chave Lingüística do Novo Tèstamento Grego foi preparada para eliminar ao máximo as barreiras enfrentadas pelos que já estudaram um ou mais anos de grego, mas que continuam a sentir dificuldades em ler e aproveitar o texto inspirado. A Chave foi idealizada para poupar o trabalho moroso de buscar palavras menos comuns no léxico e respostas sobre sintaxe nas gramáticas.A facilidade na leitura do Novo Testamento grego está, agora, ao alcance de qualquer estudante ou pastor que teve os primeiros contatos com a língua e depois falhou no cumprimento de um estudo regular.A obra original em alemão, Sprachiicher Schlüssel zum Griechischen Neuen Testament, foi escrita pelo conhecido Fritz Rienecker, ex-diretor da Academia Evangélica de Giessen, Alemanha Ocidental. O Dr. Cleon Rogers, reconhecendo a grande utilidade da obra, empenhou-se na tradução e aperfeiçoamento do original em alemão, publicando-o em inglês em dois volumes (o primeiro contendo de Mateus até Atos, em 1976; o segundo a partir de Romanos até Apocalipse, em 1980).
