A TEORIA GAlA E GESTALTA percepo de que o planeta Terra, com idade

de cinco bilhes de anos um ser vivo, pode ser

um instrumento importante para a materializao

da relao organismo / meio ambiente da gestaltterapia. A teoria Gaia, do cientista ingls James

Lovelock, afirma que a Vida e a Terra evoluem

juntas, excluindo o paradigma da viso cientfica

convencional onde reina o "apartheid" entre os

vrios campos das disciplinas ambientais. A

proposta dessa nova-antiga viso fazer uma

sntese das contribuies da geologia,

geoqumica, biologia evolutiva e climatologia,

transformando as concepes gregas da Terra,

enquanto deusa viva, numa teoria fundamentada

cientificamente e

apoiada em uma nova

disciplina, a geofisiolo-

gia". Por outro lado,

apresentar o planeta Terra

como Gaia - Me

Natureza - de forma

compreensvel e, tentar

levantar algumas ques-

tes que mostrem a fa-

mosa relao organis-

mo-ambiente e as din-

micas fronteiras de con-

tato , para um gelo-

go/psiclogo, uma

tarefa difcil e porque

no dizer audaciosa.

Perls, o pai da Cestalt

Terapia, dizia que no possvel analisar um ser

humano independente do oxignio que ele respira.

Mesmo que suas palavras no devam ser tomadas

ao p da letra, o oxignio, elemento chave para a

existncia da vida, est presente na atmosfera

numa percentagem de 20,8%. Se sua

concentrao estivesse acima desse valor, re-

lmpagos poderiam transformar o planeta numa

bola de fogo valores abaixo acarretaria uma

deficincia desse elemento para muitas espcies

que no sobreviveriam, inclusive a nossa. As algas

microscpicas que vivem nos ambientes aquticos,

especialmente nos oceanos - fitoplancton - so as

maiores responsveis pela regulagem do

percentual de oxignio na atmosfera. Elas se

beneficiam da "tecnologia"

The perception that planet Earth, with five bil/ion

years of age isa living being, can be an important

issue for the materialization of the organism /environment relationship of Cestalt therapy. The

Caia theory, from English scientist, james

Lovelock, states that Ufe and Earth develop

together, making an exception to the conventional

scientific paradigm vision where "apartheid" is the

main issue among the severaI fields of the

environmental disciplines. The proposal of this

new-old insight is to draw a synthesis from the

contributions of geology, geochemistry,

Perls, the father of the Cestalt Therapy, said that it

is not possible to analyze a human being Without

taking into consideration the oxygen that he

breathes. Even if his words should not be taken

literal/y, the oxygen, the key element for the

existence of life on Earth is present in the

atmosphere in a percentage of 20,8%. If its con-

centration was above that value, simple lightnings

could transform the planet in a bal/ of fire on the

other hand, if this value would go below it would

cause an enormous deficiency of this element fora

lot of species that would not survive, including our

/ife itself. The microscopic algae that live in aquatic

environment, mainly in the ocean - fitoplancton -

No fossem os me-canismos utilizados pelo fitoplncton, zooplnctone pelos microorganismos do solo, no existiriavida no planeta Terra e, ns, certamente noestaramos aqui. Percebendo a Terra como um servivo, Peter Russel, em seu livro - O Despertar daTerra - advoga que ns, seres humanos,constitumos as clulas do crebro do planeta.

Seria o inconsciente coletivo de Jung, produto dopensamento dos cinco bilhes de clulas queformam o crebro global da Terra viva? Osdesequilbrios do planeta provocados pela emissode gases estufa na atmosfera, chuvas cidas,

buraco na camada de oznio, desmatamentos,extino de espcies, no sugerem que o serhumano, como clula do crebro do planeta, estejanaturalmente desequilibrado precisando religarcom os princpios de sua evoluo biolgica?Inserir, tcnicas que levem o homem ao contatocom o ambiente natural, no seria um instrumentoimportante na prxis da gestalt terapia? Saber quens somos o planeta, materializado, quando

estamos em awareness com Gaia, sem dvidaum elemento importante na compreenso da teoriada percepo enfocada pela gestalt. Somos partedo planeta e, como a parte contm o todo e o todo maior do que a soma das partes a Terra atotalidade. A me natureza est doente. Elanecessita de um olhar sensvel e equilibrado parase manter viva. Temos que deixar de se comportarcomo o ego encapsulado na pele. "Tudo que estardentro de minha pele sou eu, o que est fora daminha peleno sou eu". preciso tornar porosaas fronteiras do contato. A Terra a figura. Nsseres humanos, que adoecemos Gaia, no

deveramos ser fundo, como forma de garantir asobrevivncia?

don't they suggest that human being, as cel/s of thebrain of the p/anet, become natural/y unba/anced

needing to /ink to the beginnings of a bi%gica/evo/ution? To insert techniques that wou/d take mantothe contact with the natural atmosphere, an important

instrument wou/d not be in the use of the Cesta/t

Therapy? To know that we are the p/anet, materia/ized,

when we are in awareness with Caia, it is without ash}dow of doubt an important e/ement to the

understanding of the theory of perception focused by theCesta/l. We are part of the p/anet and, as part itcontains the who/e and the who/e is /arger than the sum

of the parts Earth is the totatity. The mother-nature is

sick. She needsa sensitive and ba/anced g/anceto keepative. We must retinquish the ego encapsu/ated in theskin. "Everything that is inside my skin is me, what is
