Application-Specific means just that, IARMs that are read-
ly available in the physical forms necessary to supply the cali-
bration needs of your laboratory. In addition to our original thindisks for X-ray methods, all CRMs are available in physical
forms tailored to your specific applications; thick solid disk for
Optical Emission and Glow Discharge spectrometry, and chips
for wet chemical or solution instrumental techniques (ICP, AA,
etc.). Also, for combustion analysis, chips are available for car-

Certificates of Analysis, for each CRM, can be downloaded from the ARMI website: www.ARMI.com.
Today, ARMIs inventory consists of more than 600 different CRMs that include carbon steels, low alloy stestainless and high temperature steels, nickel, cobalt, copper, aluminum, titanium, and hydrocarbon based mat
als. ARMIsCRMs (IARMs) can be found in the application laboratories of most of the major instrument ma
facturers around the world.
ARMI will also create custom alloy sets chosen from any of ARMIs CRMs to meet your specific needs
Finally, one of the major factors contributing to the success of the ARMI/ILAP program over the years has b
you, the analytical consumer. You have voiced your opinions as well as your needs. The personnel at AR
as well as the ILAP members, wish to sincerely thank you for your continued suggestions and support.

ARMI will also create custom alloy sets chosen from any of ARMIs CRMs to meet your specific needs

Interpretation of Data
1. Certified values listed below reflect analysis results submitted by qualified analytical laboratories using a combination of methods and instrumentation
that emulate actual methods and instrumental techniques currently utilized in the analytical community.
2. Any data reported and enclosed by a parentheses ( ) is a "best estimate" and is NOT CERTIFIED. This data could not be quantified sufficiently fo
certification. It was however, reported by enough laboratories to be considered as potentially present in the matrix of the material being examined.
3. The "Inter-laboratory Analysis Program" (ILAP) utilized in the establishment of the data are an ongoing program with permanent membership. Certain
elements may be selected by a consensus of the members for more extensive testing. Therefore the data in brackets [ ]indicates further testing is in
process.
4. The " Confidence Interval at 95%" is enclosed by a parentheses ( ) below the individual element's concentration.
IMPORTANT: A "User Registration Card" accompanies all shipments. This card should be completed immediately upon receipt of material
with the appropriate user information. This is the only way in which ARMI can guarantee customer updates or possible dat
modifications!

MASTER CALIBRATION SET
(IARM-MAST-100)
The IARM MAST-100 is a 100 piece Certified Reference Material
(CRM) Master Calibration Set intended for use by commerciallaboratories or any lab that analyzes several of the basic metal
alloys. The MAST-100 contains:
Stainless Steels
High Temperature Alloys
Carbon and Low Alloy Steel
Nickel Alloys Copper, Brass and Bronze
Cobalt Alloys
These CRMs can be used to create calibration curves or as Type
Standards for existing calibrations. Either way, these CRMs
provide the means to achieve excellent accuracy.
The MAST-100 is available in all three forms:
XRF (38 or 31mm x 2.25 or 8.5mm)
OE (38 or 31mm x 18.75mm)
Chips (65 or 100g bottles)
For both portable and bench top XRF instruments, the MAST-100is ideal for either alloy sorting or quantitative analysis.
Certificates of Analysis are supplied with each CRM.
The specific grade of each CRM in the MAST-100 Set is listed on
the reverse side of this sheet.
