I sincerely hope you recognized Jacques Brel, Kim Clijsters, Pieter Paul Rubens or the Atomium, otherwise I failed miserably. Besides the fact that Belgium has important pioneers in any form of heritage, it plays a big role in major worldwide organisations (EU, NAVO,…). As I mentioned in the beginning Belgium is a political mess, mostly due to the three different regions (Dutch, French and German). Belgium is the ‘center’ of Europe, so has an important logistical role where the harbor of Antwerp couldn’t lack out of Belgium’s heritage.
