Near the cultural and economic hub of Brazil, curitiba’s population is aproximately 1,750,000 people, making it the biggest and one of the most important cities in souther Brazil. it is one of the finest examples of quality of life, exceptional urban planning and large green spaces including beautiful parks. According to Brazilian Institute of Geography and statistics or IBGE, its economy ranks fourth in terms of contribution to the country’s gross national product (GDP) behind only the larger cities sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and the capital city, Brasília.
Atletico Paranaense soccer club or cAP was founded on March 26, 1924. It became one of major forces in state of Parana, soon won many titles. In 1949 the club assembled a team considered the best in Parana league whose oustanding, performance led them th affectionate nickname “Furacao” (Hurricane), which it has used ever since.
After a improvement in business started in 1995, the results appeared quickly. In 2001, the club involved greatest fans of soccer in Brazil doing a vibrant campaing in national league. The talent of the team associated with its efficiency and strategy led them not only to receive praises, but also the national champion title. It made a fortunate coincidence because the club became the first champion of the 21st century and third millennium.

The infrastructure of Altletico soccer club is one of the best in the world in terms of high-technology, facilities and soccer expertise. Alfredo Gottardi centre of soccer Excellence (better known as cT do caju) is an excellent example of athletic developemnt, sports medicine and professional education. It is the largest soccer centre in Brazil, with 220,000 two hundred twenty two thousand meters square of total area, including a small stadium, pitches, courts, swimming pool and gym. There are two large hotels supporting 180 guests, 2 restaurants offering 800 meals a day, laundry facility clothing services 60,000 a month, parking lot 120 having capacity and security services 24 hours. It is surrounded by a large landscaped area with a natural lake.
In addition to the services provided to Atletico athletes there are soccer programs for other teams, coaches, and players at Alfredo Gottardi centre of soccer Excellence. It has developed technical training for coaches, athletes and international teams. Moreover there are an exchange program for athletes from different parts of the world, coaching and refresher courses, professional team pre-season training, sports injury recovery of athletes.

• Being competitive on international market and establish constantly a leadership position in its category
The marketing related to sports is an excellent tool for building relationship with customers, prospects, employees and the community using emotional connections. cAP proudly has partners and sponsors with strong reputation since its improvement in business started in 1995.
club Atletico Paranaense is result of strategic planning of all management actions of the club. The Marketing Department is responsible for development of many of these actions pursuing cAP branding. The aim of marketing are:
