A lenda de S. Martinho

Era uma vez um soldado romano chamado Martinho que ficou famoso.Um dia fez uma grande viagem. Estava muito frio e Martinho agasalhou-secom a sua capa vermelha e grossa.

No caminho Martinho encontrou um mendigo que lhe disse:_Socorro meu amigo. Tenho tanta fome; tenho tanto frio. Ajuda-me por favor!Martinho seguiu em frente mas, de repente, voltou para trás para ajudar o

mendigo.Martinho pegou na sua espada, pegou na capa e cortou-a a meio paraoferecer ao mendigo. Ele disse:

_ Toma, bom homem, metade da minha capa, embrulha-te nela.O mendigo agradeceu a Martinho.De repente o mau tempo parou e o sol brilhou com muita força. Nem parecia

There once was a Roman soldier named Martin he was famous. One day he made a big trip. Martin was very cold and was covered up with his red and thick cape.

On the way Martin encountered a beggar who told him:_Help my friend. I'm so hungry, I'm so cold. Help me please!Martin moved on but suddenly turned back to help the beggar.Martin took his sword, took his cover and cut it in half to give the

beggar. He said:_ Here, good man, half of my cape, wrap yourself in it.The beggar thanked Martin.Suddenly the bad weather stopped and the sun shone with great

force. It didn’t look like winter but a beautiful summer day.
