Checking Battery Level

When the Wi-Fi BacPac is not attached to a camera, youcan check its battery level on the Status Screen by pressingthe POWER/MENU button. The display will turn on or 5seconds to show battery power level. The Wi-Fi BacPac willnot power ON unless it is attached to a GoPro camera.

Wi-Fi BacPac Battery Life

When the Wi-Fi BacPacs battery runs out it will pull powerrom the cameras battery. This extends the lie o your Wi-FiBacPac but will drain your cameras battery over time.

ATTACHING THE WIFI BACPAC TO A GOPRO CAMERA:

1. Slide the hooked end o the Wi-Fi BacPac (A) into the groove on theright side o the camera body (B).

2. Push the Wi-Fi BacPac connector (C) into the HERO Port (D) on theback o the camera.

3. Power ON the Wi-Fi BacPac by pressing the POWER/MENU button.

In addition to wirelessly connecting your camera to theWi-Fi Remote, Smartphones, Tablets and Networks, theWi-Fi BacPac makes it possible to turn cameras ON/OFFwith these devices.

To do this the Wi-Fi BacPac must be powered ON evenwhen your camera is powered OFF.

Your Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-Fi Remote arrive pre-connected inthe Wi-Fi Combo Kit. Follow the steps below only to connectadditional HD HERO2 cameras with Wi-Fi BacPacs to your

Wi-Fi Remote or to a new Wi-Fi Remote.1. Put your HD HERO2 into Connection Mode:

a. Make sure your Wi-Fi BacPac is attached to yourHD HERO2 camera and both are powered ON.

b. Short press the POWER/MENU button on theWi-Fi BacPac to enter into the HD HERO2 Wi-FiMenu Screen.

KEEPING THE WIFI REMOTES LCD CLEAN

Clean LCD screen immediately i it comes into contact with anycontaminants that may cause stains, such as ink, dyes, makeup, dirt,ood, oils, and lotions. To clean the LCD, use a sof, slightly damp,lint-ree cloth. Avoid getting moisture in openings. Dont use windowcleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol,ammonia, or abrasives to clean LCD.

AVOIDING WATER AND WET ENVIRONMENTS WHEN THE WIFIBACPAC IS NOT IN HOUSING

When not protected in the waterhousing, do not use the Wi-Fi BacPacin rain, or near washbasins or other wet locations. Take care not to spillany ood or liquid on the Wi-Fi BacPac. In case the Wi-Fi BacPac getswet, turn off and unplug rom camera beore cleaning, and allow it to drythoroughly beore using again. Do not attempt to dry the Wi-Fi BacPacwith an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or hair dryer.Damage to the Wi-Fi BacPac caused by contact with liquid is not coveredunder the warranty.

Safety Information

WATER RESISTANCE

Do not submerge the Wi-Fi Remote in more than 10f / 3m o water. Donot attempt to dry the Wi-Fi Remote with an external heat source, suchas a microwave oven or hair dryer. Damage to the Wi-Fi Remote causedby excessive water pressure is not covered under warranty.

USING CONNECTORS AND PORTS

Never orce a connector into a port. Check or obstructions on the port.

I the connector and port dont join with reasonable ease, they probablydont match. Make sure that the connector matches the port and that youhave positioned the connector correctly in relation to the port.

KEEPING THE WIFI BACPAC AND WIFI REMOTE WITHINACCEPTABLE TEMPERATURES

The Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-Fi Remote are designed to be operated intemperatures between 0 C and 40 C and stored in temperaturesbetween 0 C and 70 C. Extreme temperatures may temporarily affectbattery lie, or affect the unctionality o the Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-FiRemote. Avoid dramatic changes in temperature or humidity when usingthe Wi-Fi BacPac and/or Wi-Fi Remote as condensation may orm on orwithin the products. When youre using the Wi-Fi BacPac, Wi-Fi Remoteor charging the battery, it is normal or the product to get warm. The

Avec le Wi-Fi BacPac reli une camra HD HERO2, vouspouvez la connecter sans fil, un appareil la ois, un Wi-FiRemote, un smartphone, une tablette ou un rseauWi-Fi. Le Wi-Fi Remote vous permet de contrlersimultanment jusqu 50 camras GoPro.

Votre Wi-Fi BacPac et votre Wi-Fi Remote sont livrspr-connects dans le kit Wi-Fi Combo. Ne suivez les tapesci-dessous que si vous souhaitez connecter dautres camras

HD HERO2 et dautres Wi-Fi BacPac votre Wi-Fi Remote ou un nouveau Wi-Fi Remote.

1. Mettez votre HD HERO2 en mode connexion :a. Vrifiez que votre Wi-Fi BacPac est attach votre

camra HD HERO2 et que les deux sont allums.

b.Appuyez rapidement sur le bouton POWER/MENUsur le Wi-Fi BacPac pour entrer dans lcran demenu Wi-Fi de la HD HERO2.

c. Appuyez sur SHUTTER/SELECT pour entrer dansle menu de connexion Wi-Fi.

d. laide du bouton POWER/MODE, mettez ensurbrillance New Wi-Fi RC. Appuyez ensuite sur

SHUTTER/SELECT.e. Lanimation de connexion Wi-Fi saffiche pour

indiquer que le Wi-Fi BacPac cherche uneconnexion. Appuyez sur SHUTTER/SELECT votre convenance pour annuler.

CONSEILPRATIQUE:

Le Wi-Fi Remote peut contrler jusqu 50camras GoPro la ois (HD HERO Originaleet version ultrieures) une distancepouvant aller jusqu 600 pieds / 180 mtres.

2. Mettez votre Wi-Fi Remote en mode connexion :

a. Vrifiez que la tlcommande est teinte.

b. Sur le Wi-Fi Remote, maintenez appuy le boutonSHUTTER/SELECT en lallumant.

c. Relchez le bouton SHUTTER/SELECT lorsquevous voyez lcran de connexion sur le Wi-FiRemote.

3. Si la connexion seffectue correctement,vous verrez lcran suivant sur la camraet la tlcommande.

On vous demandera ensuite si vous souhaitez vousconnecter des camras supplmentaires, appuyezsur le bouton SHUTTER/SELECT pour choisirYES (oui), puis ritrez ltape 1 ci-dessus. Sinon,choisissez NO (non).

4. Si la connexion ne seffectue pas, vousverrez cet cran. Veuillez ritrez lestapes ci-dessus.

b. Choisissez le menu Wi-Fi ou Wireless.

c. Choisissez le Wi-Fi BacPac qui apparat sous le nom GOPRO-BP-XXXXXX.

d. Vous serez invit(e) saisir le mot de passe configur ltape 1.

e. Confirmez que votre Smartphone / Tablette est maintenant

reli(e) au rseau Wi-Fi du BacPac.

4. Lancez lapplication GoPro et suivez les tapesindiques.

Pournettoyer le LCD, servez-vous dun chiffon doux lgrement humide quine laisse pas de peluches. vitez que lhumidit sintroduise dans lesouvertures. Ne vous servez pas de nettoyants pour vitres, de dtergentsmnagers, de vaporisateurs arosols, de solvants, dalcool, dammoniac,ou de produits abrasis pour nettoyer lcran LCD.

VITEZ LEAU ET LES ENVIRONNEMENTS HUMIDES LORSQUE LE

WIFI BACPAC NEST PAS DANS LE BOTIERLorsquil nest pas protg dans le botier tanche, ne vous servez pasdu Wi-Fi BacPac sous la pluie, ou prs de lavabos ou dautres endroitshumides. Veillez ne pas renverser daliments ou de liquides sur le Wi-FiBacPac. Si le Wi-Fi BacPac est mouill, teignez-le et dbranchez-le dela camra avant de le nettoyer, et laissez-le scher compltement avantde le rutiliser. Ne tentez pas de scher le Wi-Fi BacPac laide dune
