No momento em que o Juiz pergunta se o réu se considera culpado ou inocente, Miguel Torres é remetido, num ápice, para um turbilhão de memórias que começam na infância, precisamente aos oito anos, quando pela primeira vez lhe foi feita a mesma pergunta, e terminam no momento e na circunstância em que agora se encontra, volvidos quase 40 anos. É o ‘filme da sua vida’, que revisita em segundos na memória, mas que na narra-tiva dura cerca de uma hora. Tudo é convocado para um “ajuste de contas” pessoal, a um tempo divertido, irónico e amargo.

The moment the judge asks the defendant to plead guilty or innocent, Miguel Torres is quickly transported back to his childhood. He’s engulfed in memories which begin in those days, when he was asked a question for the first time, and end in the moment he is now living, after nearly 40 years. It’s the ‘film of his life’, revisited within seconds, but lasting approximately an hour in this narrative. Everyone is brought to a personal reckoning, to ironic and bittersweet times.

Em dezembro, a Lisbon Film Orchestra, volta a encantar miúdos e graúdos com os mais famosos temas dos filmes Disney. Os temas de O Rei Leão, A Pequena Sereia, Piratas das Caraíbas, Mary Poppins, A Bela e o Monstro, Aladdin e Frozen-O Reino do Gelo, entre outros, serão tocados por 55 músi-cos e cantados por 4 cantores, sincronizados com as imagens dos famosos filmes da Disney projetadas numa tela.

In December, the Lisbon Film Orchestra will once again delight kids and grown-ups with the most famous Disney songs. Themes from The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, the Pirates of the Caribbean, Mary Poppins, Beau-ty and the Beast, Aladdi, Frozen, and many more, will be performed by 55 musicians and sung by 4 singers, while footage of the famous Disney films is shown on screen.

The aim of the event is to promote the quality and diversity of local food, encourage the use of regional products, promote local wines, publicise local businesses, and get participants around the table to create communication bridges. Various restaurants will be at this event, as well as confectioners, local honey and medronho producers, and wine makers.
