DIMETRO DO FURO - Identifica o dimetro externo (D) da mola de compresso. As molasde compresso da TRS-S existem em oito diferentes tamanhos de furo que correspondem
s dimenses padro de brocas. Cada mola fabricada para se alojar no furo, de maneiraque o D da mola seja efetivamente menor que o dimetro do furo.
DIMETRO DA HASTE - Esta a identificao nominal do dimetro interno (d) da mola decompresso. As molas de compresso da TRS-S existem em oito diferentes tamanhos de furoque correspondem s dimenses padro dos pinos extratores padro. Cada mola fabricada
para envolver a haste, de maneira que o d da mola seja efetivamente maior que o dimetroda haste.
COMPRIMENTO LIVRE - Identifica o comprimento de uma mola de compresso antes de estarsujeita a qualquer solicitao ou carga operacional.
PR CARGA - Indica a reduo do comprimento livre da mola para se obter uma carga inicialde trabalho.
CURSO DE OPERAO - Medida em (mm) em que a mola poder comprimir considerando amola com pr-carga aplicada.
ALTURA SLIDA - Comprimento da mola quando comprimida por um curso suficiente paraque todas as espiras se encostem. Esta condio nunca poder ser atingida, pois, causaruma deformao permanente
DEFORMAO PERMANENTE - Quando se excedem os limites elsticos e a mola nomais volta ao seu comprimento inicial
DEFLEXO MXIMA - O mximo de solicitao de compresso suportvel por uma molade matriz sem que sofra deformao permanente.
Uma regra geral para a seleo de molas sempre usar o nmeor mximo de molas comportadas pelas rea de trabalho e que produza acarga exigida com o minimo de deflexo. Isto aumentar a sua vida itl, reduzindo a possibilidade de falha e dos resultantes tempos de paradas,perdas na produo eaumento nas despesas de molas de compresso As despesas das molas de comprsso constituem uma porcentagem pequena do custo total do projeto. Uma pequena economia nas molas decompresso pode ser um ato mal orientado que podem resultar em grandes gastos de tempos perdidos e de mo-de-obra.
Quanto mais rpido o funcionamento de uma mola, mais ateno deve ser prestada aos seus limites de fadiga. Para ferramentas ou dispositivos
de acionamento lento, possivel obter um bom desempenho proximo da deflexo mxima. Ao aumentar a velocidade do acionamento, diminui avida da mola, com a mesma deflexo.Molas para extratores, coxins de presso, e outros componentes, podem ser selecionadas nas pginas seguintes. Ao selecionar uma mola de
compresso necessrio determinar o tipo de desempenho esperado da mola: curso curto, mdio ou longo. Use as deflexes tabuladas nascolunas para vida longa.
As deflexes recomendadas para cada mola, com base no desempenho exigido, aparecem nas pginas 4 a 11.Outro mtodo de seleo de uma mola, calcular primeiro o valor do curso operacional a que as molas estaro sujeitas, conforme indicado no
layout da mola abaixo.Selecione as molas na faixa apropriada de servio que operaro eficazmente no curso exigido. Calcule o nmero necessrio de molas, dividindo
a carga total exigida pela carga proporcionada por uma s mola. Arredonde o nmero de maolas at o nmero par mais alto para obter umdesempenho equilibrado.
CARGA - Esta a fora acumulada pela compresso da mola. A carga expressa em termosde um total de Decanewtons(daN), que corresponde carga sobre a mola por unidade especficade deflexo. A carga aumenta de acordo com o aumento do curso de operao.

O padro ISO 10243 estipula osseguintes parmetros para molas decompresso com fios de seco
retangular:
D: diametro externo;d:diametro interno;Lo:extenso da mola em repouso(para extenso livre/total);R:carga necessria, em Newton,para deflexo da mola em 1 mm
O padro tambm especifica a carga
mxima permissvel para cada mola,
as tolerncias para a livre (total)extenso, e a identificao de corpara cada modelo.

Quando selecionar e usar as molas, recomendamos:Selecionar as molas mais longas e leves que o
servio exige.
Evitar deflexo total. Pr carga + curso de trabalho
no deve exceder a deflexo mxima.
Carregue cada mola no equipamento montado
pelo menos 5% de distncia livre com um mnimo
de 2 mm.
Providencie uma base nivelada para cada mola.
Guiar as molas com pinos internos ou com
alojamentos profundos.
