OUR TRIP TO MALTA!
26.03.- 01.04.2017
From 26.03 to 01.04. 2017 there was
an international exchange of students and
teachers coming from Europe. It was a
part of european programme Erasmus+.
We were doing a project „ Eating for life”
which allows international cooperation and
builds up skills and qualifications of young
people in different areas of knowledge.

MALTA
JOURNEY TO MALTA
The trip to Malta took place on 26th of March. The
plane was waiting for us in Mikołaj Kopernik airport
in Wrocław from where we set off at 10 pm.
ACCOMMODATION
We were staying in a beautiful, cosy and
convenient hotel. It is called Kennedy Nova and is
located in the centre of Sliema. We could reach
every shop, restaurants and clubs.
G.F. ABELA JUNIOR COLLEGE
Abela Junior College is a place where we studied during
our stay in Malta. This is the main university in Malta.
11 thousands of students study there, including 600
people within Erasmus+ project from 80 different
countries.

During our stay we took part in lots of education
workshops, such as:
• Getting to know activities
• Food movements presentations
• Snack-packs
• Sports and games

WORKSHOPS
GETTING TO KNOW ACTIVITIES
SPORTS AND GAMES
After long hours of educational workshops came
the time for relax and fun. We spent time
outdoors in the fresh air. We took part in games
and activities. After that we could calm down
doing a bit of yoga.
FOOD MOVEMENT PRESENTATIONS
The topic of the meeting was „Food movements”
each country showed their presentation about food
trends such as slow food, vegetarianism, organic
food and using leftovers.
SNACK-PACKS PRESENTATIONS
PRESENTATIONS OF SNACKS
FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES
Each partner of the project wanted to show their traditional
snacks. In order to do that it was arranged in the canteen to
try and taste specialities from different countries such as
sweets, fruits and drinks.
VALLETTA FOOD HUNT
Valletta food hunt was about getting to different places,
fulfilling the tasks, founding hidden objects and taking
photos. We were divided into mixed groups from different
countries and accompanied by Maltese students.

Apart from school activities there was a lot of sightseeing. We took part in the trips to Maltese landmarks, such as:
• Valletta
• Mdina and Rabat
• Gozo
• Msida
• Gżira
• Hagar Qim

MSIDA AND SLIEMA
FREE TIME
In free time we did a lot of things, such as:
• swimming in the sea
•sunbathing on the beach
•visiting the city
•learning new things
•shopping
DEPARTURE
April, 1st was the day of our
departure. We flew from Malta
Luca airport which is the only one
on the island.

CORVO is a place where we studied during our stay in
Portugal. We received a warm welcome and spent a great week with the Portuguese people.
