Students should watch the video, listen and repeat it. Then, they should

with the structures “ How old is he /she /it/they?” . In order to enhance the activity, ask

students questions using the structures on the video. Point out at a male student and

ask the whole class: “How old is he?” Then follow the procedure to a female student

and a group of students. Call their attention to the correct use of the pronouns

he/she/it/they. Make some students ask and answer questions using “ How old is

he /she /it/they?”

Pick up a few students and ask who their favorite star is.

Ask personal information like complete name, age, nationality and why they like

him/her.

Click on the picture and show the students an example of a poster created on

Glogster: “ Favorite Star”.

As a suggestion, ask them to create on Glogster a poster about their own favorite

star. Alternatively, they can produce paper posters. As students will need to look up

for information, ask students to produce it at home and in pairs or small groups of no

more than 4 students.

Don’t forget to review their project before they present it to their classmates in class.
