Letramento Crítico
Há várias perspectivas teóricas sobre o letramento crítico. Todas requerem uma abordagem ativa e
desafiadora em relação a leitura e as práticas sociais.O letramento crítico envolve análise e crítica da
relação entre
textos

Letramento Crítico
•Examinar o sentido que não está na superficie do texto;
•Considerar o propósito do texto e as intenções do autor;
•Compreender que os textos não são neutros, eles representam visões particulares, silenciam
outros pontos de vista e influenciam as pessoas;
•Questionar e desafiar as maneiras como os textos são construídos;
Letramento Crítico
•Analisar o poder da linguagem na sociedade contemporânea; •Enfatizar múltiplas leituras de textos. (O fato de as pessoas interpretarem os textos à luz de suas próprias crenças e valores, faz com que os textos tenha, diferentes significados para as diferentes pessoas);•Fazer com que os alunos se posicionem em relação às questões;• Oferecer oportunidades aos alunos de considerar e esclarecer suas próprias atitudes e valores:•Oportunizar aos alunos participação em ações sociais.

Perguntas, tais como,
problematizam as mudanças na sociedade – que estão ocorrendo de forma muita rápida, e
nos instiga a refletir a respeito delas.

Características de uma abordagem de letramento crítico
•Desconstrução da estrutura e das características do texto ;
•Os textos não são considerados com atemporais; universais e não-tendenciosos;
•Exploração de leitura alternativa (implica questionamento de valores subjacentes ao
texto);

•Foco nas crenças e nos valores do autor do texto. Consideração do tempo e da cultura nos
quais o texto foi construído;
•Trabalho para igualdade e mudança social. Sermos agentes de mudanças sociais com
trabalho na diminuição das desigualdades e injustiças.
