Read the following text.
ENGLISH TOGETHER THE COMPLETE SUMMER SCHOOL EXPERIENCE!
For students aged 11 to 17 we offer English courses, a choice of activities and a full and varied
programme. We hold our courses in a private school.Short trips are arranged every weekend. Our policy is to prepare our students before each visit,
making them aware of the cultural importance of the centres visited. Some programmed
destinations include Bath, Warwick Castle, Stratford and Oxford.
A wide range of activities is available: football, volleyball, tennis, swimming, basketball... the list
is endless! The extensive and spacious grounds are fully equipped. There is a heated indoor
swimming pool and a gymnasium for example. The activities also include art and drama clubs, folk
nights, concerts, quiz evenings and the highly popular discos!
The beautiful setting offers a relaxing environment in which to live and learn. The
accommodation is only a few minutes walk from the classrooms. Our expert cooks make sure that
a mixture of traditional British cooking and more international dishes are served.Parkland International Language School is based at Leighton Park School, two miles from the
centre of Reading. Reading is 60km west of London. Frequent express trains reach Reading in
25 minutes from Londons Paddington Station.
Students must attend all lessons, and all meals, and are expected to participate in the extra-
curricular activities. No smoking or consumption of alcohol or use of illegal drugs is allowed at any
time in or out of the school. All students must be in their accommodation between 10.30pm and
7.45am. Students must follow any regulations designed to assure their safety, including stipulations
on leaving the school grounds, and fire regulations.
We recommend that you contact us to make sure places are still available before you complete
