Um concerto demonstrativo da atenção dada ao património musical associado ao Palácio de Queluz. L'Angelica Serenata was composed by João de Sousa Carvalho in 1778, based on a libretto by Pietro Metastasio.�is piece is a smaller scale opera that was originally performed without staging. A concert that will demonstrate the musical heritage associated to the Palace of Queluz.

O Palácio Nacional de Queluz acolhe a Temporada de Música – Tempestade e Galanterie, com direção artística de Massimo Mazzeo, do Centro de Estudos Setecentistas em Portugal, em parceria com a Parques de Sintra - Monte da Lua S. A. Com início a 8 de março, a Temporada terá dois ciclos, de Carnaval e de Outono, e incluirá a realização de 11 concertos. Serão apresentadas obras de Beethoven, Bach, Mozart e Mendelssohn, entre outros. Conta com artistas de renome nacional e internacional - não deixando de ser aberta aos jovens intérpretes - e promove uma itinerância pelos vários ambientes do Palácio Nacional de Queluz (Salas do Trono, da Música e dos Embaixadores).

�e National Palace of Queluz hosts the Music Season - Tempest and Galanterie, under the artistic direction of Massimo Mazzeo from Centro de Estudos Musicais Setecentistas de Portugal (the Centre of Portuguese Eighteenth Century Musical Studies), in partnership with Parques de Sintra - Monte da Lua S.A. Starting on March 8, the season incorporates two cycles, Carnival and Autumn, and includes 11 concerts. Works by Beethoven, Bach, Mozart and Mendelssohn, among others, will be presented. �e season features artists of national and international repute - while remaining open to young performers - and promotes ambulation through the various ambiances of the Palace of Queluz (the �rone Hall, the Music Hall and the Hall of the Ambassadors).

HaydnÉ a primeira colaboração entre a Divino Sospiro e o pianista português Pedro Burmester que, pela primeira vez, tocará um pianoforte histórico, neste caso o instrumento Clementi, jóia do património musical de Queluz. No programa consta um dos mais emblemáticos concertos de piano de Mozart, o KV595.�is is the �rst collaboration between Divino Sospiro and Portuguese pianist Pedro Burmester, who will be playing a historical fortepiano for the �rst time. In this case, the instrument in question is the Clementi, jewel in the musical heritage of Queluz. �e programme includes one of Mozart's most famous piano concertos, the KV595.

Em Queluz apresenta um repertório no qual se destaca a obra do compositor C.Ph.E. Bach, assinalando assim os 300 anos do seu nascimento. Kristian Bezuidenhout is a pianist known for his interpretation of the fortepiano, whose "well equipped with the technique to back up some extraordinary new ideas about old music", according to the Boston Globe. At Queluz, he will present a programme that will highlight the work of composer Carl Philip Emanuel Bach, marking the 300th anniversary of his birth.

XVIII, das quais a mais famosa e cosmopolita foi a Assembleia das Nações Estrangeiras, fundada pelo compositor e violinista Pedro António Avondano (1714-1782). A concert that is much more than a mere concert. It recreates the spirit of the Lisbon Assemblies that marked the end of the 18th century. �e most famous and cosmopolitan assembly, the Assembly of Foreign Nations, was founded by the violinist and composer Pedro António Avondano (1714-1782).

Os termos Tempestade e Galanterie correspondem à transição entre o Barroco e o Rococó, décadas de grandes transformações sociais e artísticas. Período rico na procura de novas sonoridades, mais emotivas e menos sujeitas a convenções. É precisamente neste período que se concretiza a passagem do cravo para o pianoforte. Esta temporada é assim oportunidade para trazer de novo à cena, após longo período de silêncio, o pianoforte Clementi, parte integrante da coleção do Palácio Nacional de Queluz

�e terms Tempest and Galanterie correspond to the transition between the Baroque and the Rococo, decades of great social and artistic transformations. �is was a fruitful epoch in the search for sounds which were new, more emotional and less subject to conventions. It is precisely during this period that the transition from the harpsichord to the fortepiano is concluded. �is season is therefore an opportunity to bring back to the scene the Clementi pianoforte, which integrates the collection of the National Palace of Queluz, after a long period of silence.
