Afinal, o que é Inglês Técnico (Instrumental)??

No processo de aprendizagem de uma língua estrangeira qualquer, leva-se em conta o

desenvolvimento das habilidades de recepção (leitura – reading e de compreensão auditiva – listening) e também as habilidades de produção

(escrita – writing e de fala – speaking).

Um curso INSTRUMENTAL tem a particularidade de visar as habilidades de leitura e de escrita em detrimento das outras habilidades que não fazem parte do foco principal do curso (e que também necessitariam de muito mais tempo).

O curso de Língua Inglesa instrumental tem como objetivo o aprimoramento da habilidade de leitura na língua-alvo (neste caso, o Inglês) por meio da observação e ênfase nos pontos

morfológicos, sintáticos, lexicais e discursivos da língua.

O conhecimento desses pontos favorece a habilidade de leitura do aluno de maneira prática e eficaz na língua-alvo, promovendo uma maior autonomia e sem a necesssidade de o aluno ter que traduzir para o português cada palavra do texto para garantir sua compreensão; mas sim entender o texto escrito em sua língua original a partir da dedução dos sentidos e significados por meio de estrategias de leitura e de conhecimento de pontos chave da língua.

Agribusiness is the business of agricultural production. It includes agrichemicals, breeding, crop production (farmingand contract farming), distribution, farm machinery, processing, and seed supply, as well as marketing and retail sales.

The discipline of agribusiness is changing to market centric. All agents of the food and fiber value chain and those institutions that influence it are part of agribusiness system.

Within the agriculture industry, "agribusiness" is used simply as a portmanteau (union of two words) of agriculture and business, referring to the range of activities and disciplines encompassed by modern food production. There are academic degrees in and departments of agribusiness, agribusiness trade associations, agribusiness publications, and so forth, worldwide.

Brazil is a little larger than Australia. It is the largest country in South America, of which almost half falls within its borders.

It is bordered by Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, and Bolivia on the southwest; by Peru and Colombia on the west; by Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana on the north; and by the Atlantic Ocean on the northeast and southeast. Extending from 5°N to 34°S, it is broadest at about 7°S, the greater part of the country lying within the tropics.

Unlike most other South American countries, it does not include any part of the Andes Mountains, so no area of the country has permanent snowfields. The highest areas within Brazil just fail to reach 3,000 m/10,000 ft and there are no large areas above 1,800 m/6,000 ft.

The two largest physical regions of the country are the Amazon Basin and the Brazilian Plateau. The Amazon Basin occupies the whole north and centre of the country and is everywhere below 300 m/1,000 ft; it has the climate of an equatorial lowland with few differences from place to place.

The Southern States of Brazil outside the Tropics

This region consists of the southern states of Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul. Both along the coast and in the plateau districts inland the climate is warm-temperate rather than tropical, and is similar to that found in Uruguay and northern Argentina.

As the table for Porto Alegre shows, even on the coast there is a distinct cooler season when frost can be expected in the winter months. Here winter has a real significance and the difference between the seasons is determined by temperature rather than rainfall.

During the warmer summer months temperatures reach similar levels to those found farther north in the tropical regions of Brazil. This region has a generally healthy and pleasant climate with an average of eight to nine hours' sunshine a day in the summer months.

Inland where the land is higher, frosts are quite common in winter but snow is very rare. Inland the wettest months are during the summer, in contrast to the coastal district.
