MATRIZ CURRICULAR PARA ENSINO DE INGLÊS 3º. Ao 9º. Ano
APRESENTAÇÃO DA MATRIZ CURRICULAR DE LÍNGUA ESTRANGEIRA:
Em Joinville, desde 1978 o inglês era ensinado para alunos das escolas da Rede Municipal de Ensino nas 7 a. e 8a. séries em 2 aulas semanais, atendendo ao que determinava a LDB na época.Como antiga reivindicação dos professores, a partir de 1994, os alunos de 5a. a 8a. séries passaram a ter aulas de inglês em 2 aulas semanais. Desde 2001, a rede municipal de ensino de Joinville oferece, em sua grade curricular, o ensino do inglês como língua estrangeira nas escolas de 3o. ao 9º. anos do Ensino Fundamental, uma conquista significativa para os aprendizes, professores e pais.Seguindo tendências internacionais, diferentes metodologias já foram adotadas no ensino desse idioma em Joinville: no início, fez-se foco no estruturalismo; no início da década de noventa, o foco passou a ser na abordagem comunicativa baseada em funções e a partir de 2000, foram iniciadas experiências piloto com gêneros textuais. A atual matriz prevê a possibilidade do trabalho baseado na abordagem comunicativa ou em gêneros textuais. O professor que se sentir preparado para o ensino com gêneros textuais poderá fazê-lo.Já em termos de Brasil, a inclusão do ensino de Língua Estrangeira Moderna nas escolas ocorreu oficialmente em 1855. Nessa trajetória, duas foram as principais orientações metodológicas utilizadas: a orientação de ênfase estruturalista e a de ênfase comunicativa. A orientação de ênfase estruturalista tem como palavra-chave o SABER, que visa o conhecimento da língua enquanto sistema de regras.A orientação de ênfase comunicativa tem como palavra-chave o FAZER, que propõe trabalhar a língua com as quatro habilidades: ler, falar, ouvir e escrever, cuja prática oral é o centro das atenções.
Já a perspectiva contemporânea de ensino e de aprendizagem de línguas embasada em gêneros textuais, sustenta-se nas relações existentes entre os princípios do saber e do fazer, que propiciam a construção de uma visão de ensino de línguas que seja capaz de promover autonomia intelectual e maior capacidade de reflexão dos aprendizes, contribuindo para a sua formação cidadã.A Secretaria de Educação do Município de Joinville, por meio da matriz curricular para o Ensino Fundamental do 3º. ao 9º. anos na disciplina de Língua Estrangeira/Inglês, contribui para a aprendizagem de forma significativa por intermédio da (re)construção de conhecimentos, motivada pelas experiências trazidas do contexto familiar e comunitário do aprendiz em conjugação com os saberes adquiridos por ele nas demais disciplinas da grade. Essa aprendizagem se dá uma vez que as atividades em sala de aula transitam entre funções comunicativas, estruturas da língua e diferentes gêneros textuais, contribuindo primordialmente para que o aprendiz adquira diferentes formas de interpretação do mundo.
Objetivos para séries iniciais (3º. Ao 5º. Ano) : Ao longo das séries inicias do Ensino Fundamental, espera que o aluno seja capaz de:- Desenvolver suas habilidades comunicativas na língua-alvo, relacionando-as com situações de seu cotidiano;- Intermediar o primeiro contato com o idioma em situações concretas, relacionando-as ao contexto pessoal, escolar e familiar;- Despertar o interesse pelo aprendizado da língua por meio de atividades lúdicas.- No trabalho com gêneros textuais, utilizar diferentes estratégias de leitura, partindo da identificação de cognatos, adivinhações, nomes próprios, leitura de imagens.
